Quite some trip - tips! Amazing place you're staying at, the bay view is excellent! I hope the ankles recover. I was truly amazed at the amount of trash people left behind on that first leg, I've never ever seen that (have flown to US, England, Malaysia, Taiwan, Indonesia etc ...)
It has been indeed! Yes, my sister and her husband found an amazing rental during Covid. Trash - I felt like I was flying to India with those who took up most of the plane. Their culture is very different regarding "cleaning up" so it made sense after I thought about it.

Hey!! I understand and I certainly do as well - but - it takes money to be able to go off and not look for work while pedaling into the wilderness with no wi-fi. I was lucky to have that window during Covid and hopefully I'll land a job which will allow me to go on another long pedaling trip soon. One that allows me to stay in motels with internet. Gosh I miss it so much!
For the Doha to Phuket leg, it looks like the Qatar Airways equipment is a bit older. The inflight entertainment screen looks significantly smaller. Also, has the edema resolved? Both legs looked pretty uncomfortable.
Hahaha...now I'm laughing on what I THINK you mean. The footage is taking forever to get to Thailand? Was I right? If so, it's because I'm trying to kick in the YT algorithm. YT starts to market your channel but it won't until you upload and get views. It takes a few videos.

I did too! It's really bad all over but Vegas is horrific as many get caught up in the gambling and they offer free alcohol as long as you are gambling. So, it's easy to fall into that trap if you feel lost or are depressed.
There is a trick to putting on Compression Socks 🧦,Turn the sock inside out up to the heel then put it on like a regular sock then you can pull it up over the calf…. If ya don’t do that,it will be a struggle…..🧊…..

The Dutch spent quite a while in the SEA I think it was that Thailand was not taken over by European imperialism and colonialism the way so many other countries were. They had to deal with imperialist powers, but were not invaded and colonized by them. Something like that. They have about 72 million people and over 500,000 square miles of territory. Never went there. Did go visit Vietnam, and lived for years in PR China.

I haven't flown international for many years so I didn't have a reference on new or old. Yes, it did go down but took about a week.
