Hello Dawn, this is a blast from the past! Thank you for this as I am searching for bags to make for Christmas and I found this. Just love it xx Jean from Scotland already liked shared and subscribed (years ago)
I loved making these bags, I made some for my parents for Mother's Day... the children loved picking out the paper, I filled them with gooodies...?they where a hit! thank you soooo much for sharing.
Love the bags. What a great way to use up patterned papers! I can see these done in holiday patterns... great to make ahead of time ....... YOU are wonderful.
OMG Dawn your gift bag turned out so awesome It is so cute and pretty!! How clever of you to figure out how to create it. It was fun watching you create it. You really did an outstanding super creative job. It is truly a super cute & adorable bag. Super fun video packed with inspiration. YOU ROCK!! Joan Smith
So glad you did this video! Going to have a Christmas card workshop in a few weeks and thought about these totes! May try the wider one first 😀 Thanks again!
I love these bags and can't stop making them. Tutorial I saw from the UK (Caroline Hallett) was slightly different, but the same finished look. If someone wants the dimensions that use just one 12 inch piece of cardstock, they are: Base: 2 1/2 x 5 1/4 scored 1/2 inch all around. DSP: 3 1/2 x 12. (or taller if you like). Finished base size is 1 1/2 x 4 1/2, great for holding 4x4 note cards. Jackie ~ Phoenix
Love how you can take a model and emulate it. Me, I still have the model six years later! Thank you for your creativeness!

So cute! and not too time consuming to make as long as you keep the embellishing down to a minimum... Love it!
