Corret about the batches. The one on the left is older and @5:05 you can see there's something left from the batch code on the sticker. It probably smells weaker because it was poorly stored for a few years before sale. I have the 2017 version and it's very weak. His version from Amazon (not exactly sure they're an authorized retailer) on the right appears to be a 2016 version which is said to be stronger. Whatever year was the last year they made 200 ml's of Voyage was the year it was still supposedly strong.

It is not printed with ink, this is why it is hard to see. The batch is a clear stamp carving put over the sticker, if you look for it in the light in a good angle you will see it. The spamped batch code is probably perpendicular to the info of the sticker where it says "flamable ... 3.4 fl oz" ...
If you look closely at the bottle he states is the fake one, @5:05, you can see the remnants of a batch code in the middle of the round sticker. Judging from the cap and atomizer appearance, my guess is that the one on the left is an older batch/bottle and just may have lost much of its power due to being stored in poor environmental conditions before sale. I have a 2017 bottle that looks like his one on the right. I bought it a few months ago and it's pretty weak. His bottle on the right from Amazon appears to be a May, 2016 batch. Those were said to be stronger. I've had some problems with fragrances bought from Amazon but it's good to know he received a bottle from Amazon that was only 4 months old at the time this was posted.

You can see the stamped number on the sticker the vintage formula has the metal cap with the metal ring on the sprayer vintage formula is much better reformulated version is much lighter and diluted with an alcohol blast in the opening the vintage has no alcohol opening the opening is apple and melon with beautiful sea notes and light mossy woods base.
The one on the left is an older formulation with the original sprayer collar, probably should have a heavier (and metal) cap with the so-called 'real one' on the right AKA newer formulation having a lighter plastic cap.

There's a term called economies of scale and if you're a counterfeiter, all one needs to do is to dump all the ingredients in a vat (well, there' s a process but you know what I mean) and let Nautica spend on the brand building, while the counterfeiter shaves off and profits from the small margin. Mass produced perfumes rely on volume sales not on markups, even the authentic ones are, as you pointed out, cheap already, but that's not the point. The point for counterfeiters is to make money by hitching a ride on the profiteer model of the authentics by posing fake, CHEAPER made ones as authentics.
