Another excellent live performance from a fantastic concert by the king of Reggae Music Bob Marley and the incredible Wailers....perfectly performed and done here......!!!!!!!!!!!!
What strikes me with the comments is that they are from ALL over the world. I am in England. The music has no boundaries. It's just stunning, beautiful, powerful and sooooo timeless. I absolutely love it, love it, love it. ❤️
True , I think Bob Marley is the world Most important musician of the XX century, and probably the most loved musician all around the world
Love you 4 ever GOD bless you❤
Bob Marley was not only a singer. But a messenger . All Bob Marley music we are facing it now in this world.
He warned “don’t make a politician grant you a favour, they will only want to control you forever.”
an angel on the earth, he came and done his bit then gone. All people of God never last long on earth.
@@fabongouwhy does this acc seem to be true 🤧

Everytime i listen to this piece..it comes to my mind that ince there was a musucal angel sent to this world and we who knows can feel the works of this Angel behind Bob Marley's music..listen to the lead guitar you will know him Brother Peter Tosh..who deeply know Reggae music overstand it.
bob was a great artist, and the king of reggae he is the most loved and respected singer in the 20th century. still his music and lyrics relevant and nice to listen to. thanks for sharing this concert. the sound quality is perfect.
This is a true testament that Bob, Peter and The Wailers did not just bust out big! But they plowed hard to grow and mature their musical skills.
They had been together for 10+ years at this point.
Olha esses arranjos diferentes, intros longas, improvisos, QUE MOMENTO RARO E ÚNICO!
carlton barret master of the drums, one of the most underrated drummers in the history,
Carlton Barret, the sound of reggae !
A bit like Miles Davis cool jazz : sober, right stuff at the right time.
Carlton Bennett IS definitely the most underrated drummer in history. If you dive deep into his catalogue of music and career, I think you'll be thoroughly amazed.

Good reggae isn't slow, it's precisely on time.

Give praise to the TH-cam algorithm for suggesting this out of the blue! Loved the Wailers since the late 70s when I was a kid. Never heard this. GOLD

Much Thanks for this posting. Made my day. Music to heal the soul.
Thank you
Peter's presence was extremely important to Bob's journey as a man and as a musician..i compare them just like the sun and the moon...each of them had an important role and together they could reach lots of people's soul....I give thanks to Jah for putting them in this world
Jah!
i feel the same, it was so a shame that later peter leave the wailers with bunny wailer. Definitly a trio that was pure fireeee JAH
dont forget bunny
They are still living among us because we are immortal some how; however, we had failed to carry on our perfection that is the only reason , we cannot see them still, but if we linsten carefully we will hear and feel them. They are right now in the othe dimension that our naked eyes couldn't perceive.

He was 27-28 yrs old at the time of this recording.
You can hear his timbre, resonance, trait, and quality when he skats.
You can hear that he was experimenting with his voice and vocals with texture, quality quantity, balance, and taste.
You can still hear his youthfulness in this recording
By 75-78 his voice was primed - it matured like wine or ganjah! by 79-80 when he took the whole world.
Yes he had an amazing voice!! Bunny and Bob were no slouches either but he was 29 here and shortly thereafter he came with Word, Sound and Power and beginning with "Legalize it" released a series of legendary reggae records that have stood the test of time and haven't been overplayed like some reggae records.. Steppin razor!! Bless up!!

The arrangements and interplay are amazing. Peter's guitar is the best. Might be the best band ever. Superstar frontmen and the highest quality band in the world of reggae introducing great songs they had worked out to perfection. I have really never heard anything close to this good.
Very much obliged!!! I love me early 70s "live" Bob & the fabulous wailers.☮🌻❤🍾
Every time you hear My blood runs cold🔥🔥🔥🔥 music that lives on 4 ever Bob & Peter was like the sun & the moon ....4ever in my ❤ #onelove #jah💯
Think you for this precious time. From Algeria
This is the Wailers at their best! In concert and on records they never gave less than 110%. Too bad Bunny wasn't there. Many people think The Wailers were discovered in the early 70's but the core group had been together and recording in Jamaica for almost 10 years by this time. They worked with Joe Higgs and Lee Perry in the 1960's. Peter Tosh and Bunny Wailer were step brothers and know each from their youth in Kingston. There is an excellent interview with Bunny on TH-cam where he fully explains his relationship with both Peter and Bob.
Born the year this was played... one of his best live performance I think 👍 who jah bless
Constant love, light, peace, power, strength, fearlessness, to y'all...Love from Hawaii😘🌊🌺
Jah bless!!! Deus Vivo, Marley vive.

"Nice one!!! That's what they seh!" What a great recording!!!! This even predates the Bob Marley LIVE album !!
Bob had really perfected his yodeling vibrato here....no other singer has done it like that since
Bob's earlier songs were raw and pure.
This is the fastest show of all Marley time.
⚡️High Energy⚡️
The Wailers were on a mission!

Whoever witness this concert can consider themselves as the luckiest concert goers in the world . Much love
My very favorite Marley's recordings are those from EARLY days (when Tosh was with him), there is such TENSION in these versions, I am looking all over for these recordings.
Bob's voice is at its absolute top, he sounds so free, for exemple, the ending of "Burnin' and Lootin'" here (around 18:00) is such a WONDER!
Agree him and tosh were 1

This is just sublime. The sound quality, for a show recorded in 1973, is absolutely outrageous.

almost "the wailers", bunny wailer decide to rest up from this concert and later for ever as Peter do the same time later, this was because both were militants of rastafari, so for them playing in "freak clubs" was not something to feel proud.

@@magnusholm3279 the record label decided to call the band bob marley & the wailers without asking the wailers.in the beginning the wailers were at their best with lee scratch perry but he sold the mastertapes for $5000 but everyone in this band had a vital part to play.the keyboards the bass the backing vocals the guitars lead vocal & peter wrote quite a few of their tunes.later they did an lp with basically the wailers called bunny wailer the blackheart man.bob is on lead all songs were written by bunny proving bunny had a big part to play.but sadly they split bob,s best lp was exodus peter tosh,s best was called legalise it peace...
Bunny Wailer had already quit the Wailers in 1973 after the UK leg of the Catch A Fire tour that's why you don't hear his voice on this live concert. He never participated in the Burning Tour it was Joe Higgs who filled in for him both on the US leg of the Catch A Fire tour 1973 and the entire Burning tour 1973/74 US & UK.The entire saga will all be told in my upcoming autobiography "Reggae My Life Is" the Untold Stories, coming soon.
