There are 1.3 Muslims living in the Greater London area. Lets say half are female so that leaves 650K males. Let's again say only half of them are of an age to violently demonstrate as is their wont, that is 325K who may take to the streets which is far more that the total of police officers in England and Wales. This is an example of simple two fear policing where they will happily batter white folk but fear the interloper and even import more for cops to be frightened of.

Isn't this down to the college of policing? I keep hearing reports that the standards being taught have fallen due to 'inclusive aware' management... And I can understand that front line officers have to toe a line to appear 'impartial' so that they can serve as arbitrators in disputes... But what this video shows is... over compensating to try and be what they are told to be.
Granted, the video camera means they have to toe the 'official' line due to their being filmed and potentially placed before the world to see... I think the officers are not the problem and to find where the problem is, people should look further up the chain of their command. There is a reason why older officers left the force ahead of their time voluntarily.

People get the policing that they deserve. As a nation, Britain has not backed police. It has stood by over the last 15-20 years, policing has been degraded away. People continue to consume anti-police media (almost all of the media) and do not make any demands on local or national politicians nor media for the last decades. People stood by and allowed police powers to be rolled back and police to be labelled racists as an entire group. People did nothing when public order policing was scaled back to an almost entirely passive role. When the 2012 riots happened, no-one questioned why they occurred and was policed as they were. People were happy to simply call the police "useless" and carry on. There is no other group in the country that works under the threat from both within and without that police do. In no other career field (except the armed forces) do you give up all your employment rights, legal rights and human rights. In no other career field is there the expectation that you will be subjected to daily criminal threat - but also threatened with criminal sanction for doing your job exactly as you were trained to do.
