I absolutely love to watch you draw. It’s helpful for me to see your approach for specific features of the subject. Of course I like to see your face too! You have a contagious enthusiasm in your expression that make it enjoyable to watch your lectures too. Either way is fine, or a good mix of both. All of it is appreciated. Thank you for sharing.
Very helpful thoughts, thank you; enjoy your videos, I am loving sketching with ink and sometimes adding watercolor. It is so much fun, and your words of experience and encouragement are great.
This is a very insightful video, Stephen. I say many of these things to my university writing students when they are stressing over essays. I'm going to recommend it to them.
I prefer seeing you when you speak, as I’m being distracted by trying to absorb two things at once. Multi tasking not so good, ie I’ve one box open at a time. Ha ha . I’ve seen my drawings improve a lot since watching and listening to your videos. Many thanks.
Thanks Richard. This video is not about this drawing, it's just there for entertainment as an alternative to my face talking at the camera. Here's a link to the video made originally for this drawing. It's on keeping proportions correct when freehand drawing. The drawing is slower, and you can use the cog icon on the screen to slow any video to half speed.th-cam.com/video/ot30sxzBKyA/w-d-xo.html

"Try to identify our thoughts are robbing us from confidence" 👍
As much as I enjoy seeing your smiling face,
seeing you drawing as you talk helps me learn more about your techniques.
My face will still be smiling if you’re watching my drawing. 😆
Yes, I love to watch you draw during the voiceovers. Even if it's not related.
Thanks for letting me know 😀

Thanks for your thoughts Nancy😀
That's fantastic 👏
Much appreciated 😀

My pleasure. Saludos desde Australia 😀

What I love to hear. Thanks Brenda. 😀

Encouraging to hear, thanks - and I really appreciate the mention to your students 😀
The voice-overs are a good idea even if their not related to the drawing
Thanks for your thoughts. 😀

Thanks for your thoughts David 😀
I think I am a bit more compelled to watch the screen when you are drawing and less compelled when you are the presenter. Either one if fine by me.
Appreciate your thoughts. Thanks Bill. 😀
Amazing skill but it’s too hard to absorb any thing at this speed. Can I suggest showing a portion in real time?
