Love the entire line from tier 7 and above. It is easy to score high point with them. They can be everywhere in a short time. That makes tjem for me nicer then the Russian line. But on that line I am only at tier 8, so maybe that will become better as well. Radio equipment is on all my German GA's, it help a lot and made it possible for me to score a lot of personal points in almost each match.
I'm only at the Me 265, but I enjoy it so I'll probably enjoy this, too. They really are altitude-limited heavies. Historically, the 265 was designed to succeed the failed Me 210 and the 329 a successor to the Me 410. Which is interesting because in-game both the 210 and 410 are what they are, high altitude heavies. WG decided to neuter the altitude for these two and just make them dedicated GAs. It's a game and they wanted to emphasize the ground attack capabilities of these planes to make a GA "line," so that's fine, just interesting from the historical perspective and also why both of these are pretty good at taking out aircraft, too.
I had this one specialized for a long time but I will give a try to your setup for the plane and the pilot. Thanks for your suggestion ! But I find this plane really crispy when I'm in my japanese Multirole.
I love the 329, honestly I find it to be the most stressful plane type to play, most action and most going on at the same time. It's what I play if i'm still sleepy in the mornng.
The ground attackers do less damage damage than bombers but are far more fun to fly and the Me 329 is that, fun. This is also the first GA that I got a grade 1 in. I do need to go back and specialize it.
I absolutely love this thing. I don't play it as much as I used to, but I'll have to dust it off and take it out! Fun fact, it was conceived and designed as a heavy fighter, not a GA like in-game. Oops...looks like Cameron R beat me to the fact of the day! Lol

You really don't want superiority that fast otherwise the battle is over too quickly, especially now with the need for > 8K per battle to get your candy canes. On the other hand... Oh great, another Postal video where he get's the better bot AI or has weaker opposition (or both) for another yawner video (boring) of him winning easily. Please try to use more closer challenging videos as much as you can. I've watched so many over the last 2 years that I'm more interested in your analysis after a loss and commentary on what you could have done differently (if anything) to help me improve on game strategy. Just seeing you get superiority for the easy-peasy win is of little help.
I don't get the enjoyment people get out of this plane...its a ground attacker and its pretty bad for its role having only two bombs and four short range 30s. Its a heavy multirole (if you can concider it that) and its slow. In general, i find that there are planes that fill this niece "role" better (like the IL-10M) and planes like the Tu-10 are just better in every way...
Not a bad perspective. The argument could be made that EVERY GA is irrelevant thanks to bombers. Ju 288C and Tu-10 can do more damage to the ground for sure, faster too. My argument for the Me329 is it's ability to impact the enemies around it too. Nothing is quite as good at killing other GAs as the 329, and taking potshots at other planes. Sure the 30s are short range but they absolutely melt buildings. And the bomb reload time is good enough to keep dropping and shooting. The Me329 might not be the best, but I like it's ability to flip sectors and move along
@@PostalMonkey Yes bombers kinda erased ground attackers from relevance, high tier attackers still can compete if the game pace allows it... Maybe its just me that i don't like the lazy 30s that the 329 and 262 have, but it has such a niece place in the game right now that most of the times wont have fun against metaslaving winrate farmers... (And yes i never thought i would care but after the XP-54, the problem became so aparent that I can't look away)
I enjoyed my 329 alot, so let me give my two cents. Sure, you only get two bombs, but they reload very quick. That's what you want for a GA with this kinds of playstyle - you gun down softer targets, then drop one bomb on the stronger targets. Just keep repeating that, and its really fun. Plus, unlike the Il-20, you have more easy to use guns, and even though those 30s don't have the fastest flying shells, its more than enough to deal with ground targets and much faster than the 57s of the Il-20. Remember, the 329 is more than a hundred km/h faster than the Il-20. Even though the 329 has a much weaker ordinance, you have that speed to move around the map much better than the ruskis, and your bomb reload plays very nicely into that. I come in, gun down soft targets, bomb two sites, cap, then when I reach another zone my bombs are already reloaded. About the tail gunner, while that MG131 doesn't pump out nearly as much damage as the Il-20's 23mm does, imo its much more comfortable than the Il-20 simply because it fires basically the entirety of your rear, as its located at the tip of your rear. While you can't kill enemies nearly as fast as the il-20, its only a difference of about 50 dps, and with manual rudder control of your plane, you can make up that difference with your time gained by dodging shells like a madman. Of course, the 329 may not fit your playstyle, but its certainly a much different experience than the russian line. One focuses on that heavy ordinance, the other relies on its guns to do most of the damage and your bombs to supplement it. Although bombers make you irrelevant, bombers at any tier make same tier GAs irrelevant anyway. I recommend focusing on guns, maybe you'll have a better time with this lovely plane!

Both the Soviet and the German GA's at tier 9 tier 10 are absolutely awesome
