Sorry for late response. I just viewed your video tonight. I live in AZ where it usually 100 to 115 degrees every day in summer. I am in planning stage for a outdoor setup using a pool like you have. I bought a small ac unit for my shed and am going to pump my water into a kiddie pool in the very cold shed (i just installed insulation foam board to shed) then run it back out to the pond pool in summer time. I am hoping it might act as chiller for me. I also plan to install 2 or 3 solar air pumps outside for the pool/pond so even if i have power outage they have oxygen and if all is good its more free air. Im thinking of running a water pump on solar with the air pump too. Still planning that part out. BTW : Your pleco lived because in wild they dig into the river embankments and form a cave using their body slime to seal it up during the dry season. They stay there until the river fills back up again . I found that out researching because I once had my pleco jump out of tank I was on vacation. i found it dried out, body stuck to floor. I thought it was dead, i was using putty knife to scrape it off floor and its eyes moved. i put it back in the tank and it lived for about 2 weeks but eventually died. sorry this happened to you. Maybe some of my Arizona ideas for heat will help you in Florida.

So sorry Zak, I feel your pain, I've been there too, the unfortunate side of what we do, to put it mildly, it's not easy to express how it feels, to invest so much of your time in another living creature to end up killing it unintentionally.
Dang man we lost fish at the same time in July. Not close to your loss but I had goldfish ranging from 3-6 years old. I introduced 3 new baby goldfish to the tank without a quarantine. Parasites took over the tank and killed everyone except my pleco. I truly know the pain you experienced. As fish hobbyists, we love our babies.
That's not a pond. it's a pool not designed for fish at all. It's ridiculous that you think that's an adequate for koi carp. it's not big enough. The water is filthy. What other youtubers have said is right. You just abuse your animals. It was probably a huge ammonia spike that killed those poor fish.
Maybe if you had the fish in there natural habitat in the first place they would of never been in that situation how would you feel if they had you in a box instead of you being free l
hey honesty is always respected... mistakes happen and at least there are a few that made it.. live and learn... dont stress the haters and we will still be here rooting for you and your crazy cool fish adventures... much love bro 👊
Wow I’m so sorry for your loss I practically watched you build your ponds and fill them with your beautiful pets my question is what did you do with the dead ones
Zak , Been here myself , but not the size and quantity of loss . Yes many factors cause loss . Best I can recommend is to have separate pump's hooked up to different outlets on separate circuits . Airation is key you know. Been able to save a few after the stress and bloating. You have to relieve the swelling you know and get water moving over the gills . I learned from my mistakes and have become more aware of what will prevent it. Invest in a small generator and a pump in case the power goes out ever . It's disheartening !
Just my mistake man. I had everything set to create a new system with all my babies growing out. Just got tired cause I’m human and failed horribly. I’m moving because of this to a bigger property to avoid my human failure for my existing giants
Dude im sorry for your loss that absolutely sucks thats why keeping fish is so hard one small mistake and they can die. Ive never seen someone keep a Pseudoplatystoma corruscans Catfish and to grow it that large is amazing.
@@CatchEmAllFishingZakCatchEm maybe for feeding a critically endangered species to a catfish. Or not knowing the correct way to house aquatic animals. I understand carp are invasive but stabbing a fish bladder to "help" it is insane. I truly feel awful for the fish. They were beautiful but I have zero feelings towards you. The great removal of cancer was awesome to, by the way it was an epidermal growth. You tell me to grow up but you tell someone to cut an axolotls leg off. And then pour stress guard that has the number 1 ingredient as... Aloe witch is so toxic to an axolotl. You should be banned from TH-cam. There is gonna be children who attempt to do the same things you do. And you tell me to grow up, come on man.

Really heartbreaking bro.... I don't know what to say now....May God give you the patience and peace during this tough times, this time your eye glasses really helped you to cover your tears.....😢
This is beyond heart breaking brother. Keep your head up I know those guys were family. We all know that if anyone is a pro and truly cares about their fish it’s you, obviously I mean look at how long you personally had all of those.
my heart hurts zak im so so sorry do not beat yourself up everyone messes up in life is normal try to think of the ups rather the downs
I know you are having a hard time, but everyone knows your love for fish, and it is human to fall, so keep it up and see you soon
So sorry Zak, I feel your pain, I've been there too, the unfortunate side of what we do, to put it mildly, it's not easy to express how it feels, to invest so much of your time in another living creature to end up killing it unintentionally.
Thank God some of them survived, It's probably because Gars have that artificial lung that it made it.
Such a shame to lose all the fish though.
Damn Farley looking like a chocolate snaaaaaaaaaaack! Good job!!
Dude I've been watching your channel and that pond since i was a small child and I actually shed a tear today
apart from a pool being a terrible enviroment for fish how can you forget your Pet?
So sorry for your loss Zak
That's not a pond. it's a pool not designed for fish at all. It's ridiculous that you think that's an adequate for koi carp. it's not big enough. The water is filthy. What other youtubers have said is right. You just abuse your animals. It was probably a huge ammonia spike that killed those poor fish.
Man sorry for your loss Z. If you build back add aerators, I had my tank filter lose prime from the power going out and the aerators saved me.
Im calling peta on you.
Why ? It wasn't his fault you can hear that he is sad about his loss and peta will do nothing they killed more animals than they saved
Ask google what a joke is.
Wow I’m so sorry for your loss I practically watched you build your ponds and fill them with your beautiful pets my question is what did you do with the dead ones
Probably did it for the views, how can 11k people think this is a good video? Weird..
Hater
Stop being a clown
Heartbreaking 💔 I’m amazed how well composed you handled it. Your whole team.
Yet you still not putting oxygen in for them in the bucket. Just stressing more handling them
So sorry you lost your pet fish! It's very obvious how much you care for them.
Maybe a sign from God to stop putting fish in jail.
Zak ,
Been here myself , but not the
size and quantity of loss .
Yes many factors cause loss .
Best I can recommend is to have
separate pump's hooked up to
different outlets on separate circuits . Airation is key you know.
Been able to save a few after the
stress and bloating. You have to
relieve the swelling you know and
get water moving over the gills .
I learned from my mistakes and
have become more aware of
what will prevent it. Invest in a
small generator and a pump
in case the power goes out
ever . It's disheartening !
Just my mistake man. I had everything set to create a new system with all my babies growing out. Just got tired cause I’m human and failed horribly. I’m moving because of this to a bigger property to avoid my human failure for my existing giants

He ducks at keeping fish
The fact that he took accountability is amazing people these days blame others for their mishaps and mistakes shows how mature he was about this
Dude im sorry for your loss that absolutely sucks thats why keeping fish is so hard one small mistake and they can die. Ive never seen someone keep a Pseudoplatystoma corruscans Catfish and to grow it that large is amazing.
This is karma. You're welcome
Karma for what? What did my fish do to anyone grow up
@@CatchEmAllFishingZakCatchEm maybe for feeding a critically endangered species to a catfish.
@@CatchEmAllFishingZakCatchEm your fish didn't deserve to die. You fucking deserve the pain though. You killed them. You're a vile abuser of animals.
All the fish I've been watching for the past 2 years gone but all the respect man for you to post the video
