I think the 2nd phase of his 1st skill is not that bad just the first phase he looks ike he was petrified mid air

I don't know since the delay animation made him faster since there was a patch balance in the Discord they said they will add the shield breaker emblem in the passive.
This may sound ridiculous but if Argus was supposed to be the reverse of Rafaela..........should his 2nd skill have anti heal effects?

Notice that the shadow version of Argus in his passive is the equipped skin, not the normal Argus. The specialty or uniqueness of Darth Vader was that he was the only skin that changed the passive's shadow Argus into Darth Vader. Now that the shadow Argus changes every skin, that unique feature on Darth Vader is gone.

Oh trust me, it definitely does downplay his uniqueness. Before these animation changes, alot of argus users actually said that Dark draconic/Catastrophe skins were better than darth vader in terms of visual effects. Which made vader not stand out that much. The only unique thing about vader from other skins that's eye catching was his model, passive slash, and his shadow. Now all other argus skins almost imitates vader. From the unique shadow to the sideway passive slash.

His 2nd skill curse dmg was literally the best false hope thing for Argus and a secure kill ability when the enemy are low in HP while they running away

Argus’ trail got removed, most likely because it was too similar to Tryndamere, a league of legends character. Tryndamere also drags his sword on the ground and also has the same ult as Argus. I’m guessing they’re changing his 1st skill to look the way it does because Tryndamere is also known for spinning around when he dashes.
Who cares moonton is being bought by Tencent anyways

Fun fact the time they revamp darth vader skin is the time the crackling lightning effects on the tip of the sword when u walk while the passive is active on every other skin disappeared suddenly
They messed with other argus skins for no reason apparently. Because as you saw in the video, I am able to bring back the ground scratching effect, thanks to my old argus backup files, and through this, I can confirm they messed with each argus skin just to remove those effects. Still no idea why tho

New animation is bad. The passive slash is alright but I agree that the effects of it looking big. It could be distracting.

I kinda like the new passive slash animation WAY more than the current one, for me, it looks like he's slashing his Meteoric Sword with more power... The shadow does look way off..
But, the 2nd phase of S1's transition kinda sucks, it doesn't transition well.. But for some reason, I like it the animation.
Could they possibly be planning to buff Argus next season..? Maybe bring back bleed effect of S2? Or maybe bring back the effect of S3 that gives him a full passive bar when activated?
Honestly, the only way for him to get a decent buff is if moonton gonna release a new skin for him. A skin that has high tier like maybe Collector/Epic limited, etc

It's a well known Moonton's tactic (Masha for example)
Fun Fact: reason why Darth Vader has that special passive animation, is because in Star Wars lore, Darth Vader couldn't raise his arms more higher than his head, because his limb is now are prosthetic and not organic, so he doesn't have stretchy muscles to raise his arms higher more than his head
finally someone made a video abt it, also the second slash on his passive isnt in sync with his atk speed

I think i like it, the way he dashes, makes it more realistic in gameplay and the way he passives makes it cooler❤

If I remember correctly they also did something similar to this on ruby's epic skin(the zombie something skin)where they removed the cool walking animation like 2 yrs ago
Well I like the new one cuz the passive looks more aggresive with that back slash animation and thw first skill also looks cooler with that front slash

I still don't get it why people seems very mad about removal of bleeding effects. In my opinion, it's pretty situational, only effective against "squishy" target (and many exp laners are sustain heroes). I mean, i rather have the pre revamp ult back, where you gain 30 physical attack and instant passive recharge instead of bleeding effects. Why? Because in late game, you can do double passive combo + inspire and kill mm (or mages) before they can even activate won.
Oh yeah, i also rather have the pre revmap passive mechanic, where you gain malice energy based on how much damage you deal rather than how many enemy you hits (because with trinity builds you can do great damage, you only need like 3 - 4 ba to trigger his passive).
But it is what it is, i guess 😔.
The bleed effect was good for punishing heroes that contanly move a lot like paq chou x borg preety much every one moves so the extra damage was super nice in early game
@@jack-azote2778 i never said it wasn't useful, i just said it's situational, not to mention it can be countered by standing still. (btw you can still deal with those heroes even in the current revamped argus with the right emblem).
Also, it doesn't work well with healing heroes like terizla and yu zhong.
i like the changes especially the new passive. I don't think it makes darth vader skin worse, it only made the other skin better. The passive animation from original server feels incomplete. Although i agree that the original animation for his 1st skill 2nd phase looks better.
What if they just apply this change in the animation of argus's passive when ult is activated,I think that'd be pretty cool.

from the time that moonton revamped him and change his passive unlimited recharge when he is low hp they nerf him so bad that was the reason he was weak until they give him bleed that also help agains lessley and ammon also he was recharge his passive when use ult before and recharge it very fast it was deadly compo to mm and mage with dhs now need crit to work. very trash nerfs f u moonton only old argus players are legends thank you for your argus support finally someone understand❤

Why did they removed the ground scratching effect, this effect is a cool small detail on argus. Why need to remove it!?
Rate this argus build I cooked up, wind talker, corrosion scythe, magic boots, dominance ice, fleeting time (advance server version), queen wings ( advance server version). This build more on making argus a front line bruiser that can take damage with ease and go back to the battle field with only little time t wait. This build he relays on his passive to deal damage and crit from wind talker so what do you guys think of this build?
You have a good idea there, but with that build, you really aren't doing enough dmg. In your build there needs to be demon hunter sword or sea halberd. If your intention is to deal low dmg to enemies and sustain a little, then that makes you somewhat like fredrin with lower damage. Overall not such a good idea. Because as an exp laner, you need to be able to deal high dmg as well, not just tank dmg.
But you can definitely try that build as a roamer tho.
@@ZhadowArgus i forgot the emblem sets, assassin or marksman emblem, the emblem that has 16 adaptive damage, bargain hunter, and concussive blast or the new emblem that increases your damage when dealing damage to an enemy 3 times
New argus ult: immune to death for 6 seconds but looses this effect when stunned 😅😅

the only weakness he has are dominance of ice tanky enemys and stuns
The only way saber can kill argus is if you don't have ult ready or u r bad at playing argus

No one will use him when that happen, he already weak in exp lane and take 15 minute to shine unlike Aldous even in less than 9 minute, he still can gain 500 stack. You don't need to use him too when you want to destroy him.
You're not an Argus user because most heroes has stun now in knockback or knock up. You're trying to destroy him.

TBH The passive effect is much different from the old Argus it leaves a trail when his passive is full it looks amazing when his first release also don't forget the Immunity when ever his ult is active. I've know every skills and effect because I've started on Season 2 of MLBB
They might add more damage to the 2nd of the 1st skill..It's not gonna be for chase or escape anymore, it might become a finisher or a damager BUT DAMNM Bring back bleeding effect fr 😭
I think argus benefits more from the new 2nd skill effect than the bleed one. He can now do more enhanced basic attacks compared to before which increases his damage output by a lot. Still tho, not having any trails or bleed on 2nd skill just feels weird. Maybe they could atleast add back the blood trail like before? Fits better imo. Better yet, combine all the 2nd skill effects, bleed trail and curse, it would defenetly be way netter. Edit: my dumbahh forgot the bloodtrail still exists
nah what yall on this looks preety good. the only bad thing on the 1st skill is that it isnt as smooth when runnign after using dash withc is quite bad but the basic atack/ passive im not against it as the shake makes u feal as if u deal more dmg as the current one feels as if u do 0 dmg
Tbh this really looks a either bad or good news for argus , because now they're secretly focusing to the guy for some "unknown" reason ( totally not connected with his upcoming epic skin ) though for some instance , they really need to improvise more to the new animation , it looks like they just swap the animation of the 2nd phase and the passive ,, Overall yeah I kinda like " The idea " but they really need to try harder to improve argus more ,, and y'all noticed that argus have now a sacred statue ? I did not notice it or is just that I haven't caught up to updates ? Nevertheless, hopefully they make justice for his Upcoming epic skin like it's been like what 5 or 6 years ? And hopefully not a collector skin but a buyable one or a exclusive mythical skin would be nice like you'll need a hundred mythic coin to purchase it would be nice 👍

i suggest make the 2nd skill do bleed dmg again and if he hits a enemy he gain a movement speed instead of following the trail to gain speed unless they dont want the bleeding effect back i suggest when argus hit his 2nd skill he gains 60% or 70 true dmg so he can fight off sustain and tanks

You just contradicted yourself. You dont care about his animation but care about his buffs and nerfs, well for the longest time moonton has only being nerfing argus to the ground, instead of buffing him, they changed his animations. Who asked for it? People complained about him not getting decent buffs, now people complained about his animations, they have the right to do so. Because argus has never gotten an actual buff yet. All they did was revert back some nerfs they did on him before and "called" it a buff.
animation is matter dude we don't know if the animation is longer that can delay him more it will be turned to secret nerf for delaying his attack

The added trail effect the sword made is perfect as well I was so disappointed that they removed that. I was having a mental breakdown thinking it was just my graphics but no it wasn't

Nah for the new one is a little bit better but i agree with you about the dash its kinda of but the passive one its way way more better than a quick 1-2 it makes sense to put shadow for the next attack. its a bit weird like argus is in a hurry or something in the old one 😂 but now the shadow one perfect 👌 but miss opportunity for darthvader skin if they put shadow form like in the comics for the passive attack that will be legendary 👌

gonna be honest to everyone here who is saying the new argus attack animation looks bad i think you guys just are too used to the old argus and also the slash after the hook looks actually cooler cuz argus is a hardcore fighter not a ninja where he have to dance while attacking the new stance makes him looks more like a demonic sword wielder rather than the old stance makes him looks like a damn ninja and not a death angel with a sword
But the new slash looks meh I think the current phase 2 slash is better with the overhead backtwist Chop is better. This new one more samurai in nature and argusbaint samurai. The old dash feels more inline with his design and a bit sinister and cool.

Im not sure if its just me but adv server even has slower animation for dash after s1, for passive I suppose they wanted to make shadow stand out? I still don't like the changes tho and ngl lack of that effect on tip of the sword is a huge downgrade, always liked it

Moontoon out here changing his animations. What they should have done is give him a proper buff and thats it. My buff recommendation is revert his ult changes the plus 10 physical attack per level and gives you a full passive bar once activated.

Ah, were you too late to purchase it? Don't worry because that skin appears in fragment shop pretty often. It was so often that i wished they added other starlight skins in shop rather than the same cycle over and over again.

It will be added after rank season ends on ori server. Alongside with the new items and item changes, revamped models of other heroes, etc

In my opinion yes some of the powerful and our fav effects are gone. But the only thing argus needs here is more hp. You know why? Because every hero can make him waste his ult because he's just soft asf.🙂
The new 2nd phase of first skill is an inward slash instead of an outward slash. Inward slashes often perfomed in more controled and short range way. Making it the dashing animation is like jumping by kicking

The new passive? I am sure its mixed. Some loved it, some dont. Its completely fine if you liked the old or new one xD. But majority of them agreed that the dash just doesnt suit him tho.
