I know this is totally different to what my channel usually offers, but if you're a fan of retro music - BUY TICKETS FOR ABBA! It's possibly one of the best music concerts I've ever been to, and yes I know it's expensive, but trust me: SPEND THE MONEY! You won't regret it, and if you have been before, let me know what you think in the comments section below 👇
@@UltimateBucketList don't you worry my iphone was off through the performance. if i was in london, i would get the tickets to be on the dance floor :)
Though it is a super realistic digital Abbatar concert there is an excellent Live band on stage. I traveled from mid-America to London just to attend, I went to the show three days in a row. It was an absolute blast ! loved it. Since I unfortunately missed seeing Abba live in their heyday this is next best thing !
Been there once. It’s an amazing experience 😍 apart from ABBA concert itself which is already great, you literally can witness the future - the performance is super realistic. Absolutely worth its price
I totally agree. I think this is the future of music concerts because it's just so advanced! If ABBA can do it, other artists, musicians and bands probably could as well!
Amazing my son took me for my 85 birthday iv always loved ABBA someone told me I looked liked liked her always a great fan who couldn't be everyone loves ABBA ❤❤❤❤😂❤❤❤
Just want to say thank you to my son who has taking me to every show that I have loved all my life so proud of him will never forget I'm 85 now and all the great shows iv seen thank you son
We went to the premiere May 26th 2022 and we’re treated to the real ABBA doing a curtain call right at the end. I personally then went on to go 7 more times. 8 fly in from Spain, so I make the most of it, booking two, maybe three nights on the trot.
Another great video. The dancefloor might be the least expensive (different prices Friday / Saturday to weekdays) but it's the most fun as you can stand and dance all night. Also worth mentioning that although it's somewhat a digital concert there are actually live performers and live band members on stage who take over the stage at one point. Loved it!
Yeah, you're absolutely right! The Dance Floor is cool and I think I'll do it again there this time. The Dance Booth was great though - you could see everything from up high and you get your own private area to boogie. Thanks again!
It really is! I read the reviews and even though everyone says it's amazing, you don't realise how spectacular it is until you go and experience it. I'd do it again in a hearbeat!
Oh that's amazing! 😀 That's certainly dedication - travelling from halfway across the world just to see the show 👏 Nothing wrong with seeing it a 3rd time, eh? 😉
I saw this fabulous show four weeks ago with three generations of my family. DON'T MISS IT! A couple of days before we went, Brian May was there. I wondered if he was there sussing out a similar thing for Queen.
I just booked a ticket last night, the price includes coach to the venue. I have a seating ticket. It was expensive, but I love Abba. I have done since I was a child.
Been twice and booked again, and I'm not even a massive fan, the show is that good.!!!! Even though you know in your head its CGI, within minutes you are so overwhelmed by the teck that you feel as if its the real thing.
@martinpedley7595 yes, I totally agree. Your mind says "it's CGI", but your eyes and heart think that it's them. Such a fabulous show, I hope you enjoy your third visit!
Thank you Sandee. 🙂 Oh for sure, book yourselves a Dance Booth! Especially if it's for a birthday, I'm pretty sure that you, your sister, friends and family will have a fabulous time. 🥳 Yes, it's double the price of the normal dance floor tickets, but it's worth the extra expense in my opinion. It's not crowded, you get great views and your own bartender service - it's a special experience. The whole mantra of my channel is to go out and live life to the full. So spend the money, and I guarantee you'll have an amazing time! 😀
I went from Canada to see this show. It is totally amazing and access to it by the DLR (Subway (Tube) and Docklands Railway) is so easy. Take your time leaving at the end of the show as the station gets quite crowded. Maybe stop and have a drink at the bar and then go to the station. It's an experience to remember and worth every penny. Go see it!
Absolutely! It's an amazing show. And yes, getting back using the DLR afterwards can be painful, so your advice is correct: take your time, enjoy a drink and let the crowds dissipate before going into the station. Thanks for stopping by.
Why did they choose London to put this great show on??? London isn't a very nice part of the world these days and it's not safe either . Such a shame people have to visit London in order to see the show. I suppose if people book a hotel for just one night and stay in a nice hotel then they can always fly off to somewhere nicer and safer for the remainder of their holiday?
I believe it all boils down to money. They can make infinitely more money by staging it in London as it's a bigger city that the world can travel more easily to. That said, I think that after the initial run in London, they'll dismantle the arena and move it permanently to Stockholm.
Never did I even think I’d see a time where people pay money to not actually see a band. Instead, a 3D cartoon of them 🤦♂️🤦♂️🤦♂️ Kiss are planning to do this too. It is a lazy way for ageing musicians to still make money without doing a thing. People are stupid for buying tickets. What has happened to peoples intelligence!? 🤦♂️
I can see why you'd say that. On paper, it seems a stupid idea, right? Concerts where the musician isn't actually there. But if you think about it - that's kinda the same as saying "why would I watch a Titanic movie, why don't you perform Titanic right in front of my eyes?". In the case of ABBA - people want to remember and feel what they were like back in the day, not as the pensioner-aged former musicians they are now. People would pay to experience that again. Just like people pay to watch live sports, and some people pay to watch those same sports on TV. It doesn't mean 'lack of intelligence', it's simply entertainment.
@@UltimateBucketList I look at it this way - when most people see a big band in concert, they're actually watching the IMAG screens almost the whole time anyway. And if 1979's ABBA were touring in the 2020's like this, there's no way you would get as close as you do at Voyage...
I know this is totally different to what my channel usually offers, but if you're a fan of retro music - BUY TICKETS FOR ABBA!

Went with my daughter when we travelled from Australia in June, was worth every cent, had a fab night, so realistic and atmosphere just magic 🥰🎼
I couldn't agree more! It was an amazing show and atmosphere, and definitely so realistic.
Yay, I'm so glad you did this, as it was Abba that led me to your cool travel videos, starting with Stockholm

There's speculation the Spice Girls are gonna be announcing on too.
@@jonathanlandau-litewski7405 that doesn't surprise me. I think every major musician and band would consider something like this.

ABBA by candlelight

@@UltimateBucketList Да , конечно !.
Until when are they doing this concert ?
I don't think they've announced an end date for this concert officially?
But trust me when I say: you have to see this concert. It really is amazing!
There is no place to get food in the area of the arena after the concert....the neighborhood is a dead-zone at night.
The immediate area is yes.

The arena should have been located in waterloo
It would be ironic, but there's no one spare inch of the London district of Waterloo that could be developed for anything, let alone for an arena.
Is the concert the exact same on every showing?
I think it's mostly the same songs, though the set list does change from time to time.
ᗅᗺᗷᗅ
Yes
You can get seats for £55 but you have to thoroughly search the dates
Oh really? That's a decent deal!
I bought seat tickets for less than 70 pounds two years ago.
Good for you. They're not that price anymore.
MJ could have done this
If he did, he'd make a killing.
I think if they do one with Elvis - that'd sell out for years!
Nicht zu toppen

90 min. Tanz
It looks coll, but it will never be like a real concert with a real live band.

the only good side of it is that filming isnt allowed
Not the only good side - the show was amazing.
No chance. Can't even afford the train fare to get there😢
Shame to hear that. But you know what? I know it's horribly expensive for what it is, but it was worth it. Life's too short my friend!
I paid £95 for a seat in D block. That included return coach travel from my village in East Norfolk to the arena.
