To make it handle better put weight in the other side from the battery which will hold a battery and can use a Y connecter to use two batteries. But it really should be balanced . I was given one and I really like it, all my other cars are 1/10 scale. I would recommend this car it really scoots. The other thing I like is the drive shaft is fully enclosed unlike the Arama Senton 4x4 that keeps getting rocks in it and cutting the drive shaft in half. Good video, keep them coming
I like the idea of it being kind of a handful. Makes it more satisfying if I can learn how to control it. I used to have one of these a long time ago when I was little so I might get one to tickle that nostalgia nerve

This thing is a blast to drive. All you really need to buy are 4aa batteries and the traxxas ac-> dc adapter. It's a lot easier to work on and the aftermarket support is endless. Parts are everywhere and they're cheaper than redcat parts
It's smaller than the ultimate. The ultimate is a 1/10th scale while this slash is a 1/16th scale. There are photos online showing the size difference. But I think this is a good size. It's not too big and it's not too small.

just buy 1/16 erevo Suspension Arms and push rods it will be alot wider
Fun in a small Sandy yard. 21mph running 2s & on asphalt, it gets boring. Rinse it off & do it over & over again. Pretty tough lil Truck.
Yeah definitely. The thing definitely held up better than my 1/10 redcat blackout sc. Returned that redcat and got the traxxas.

I put 1.9 proline trenchers and tuned the shocks with 50w oil and fighting the shocks it helps with the rolling a lot

Didn’t run a lipo. Ran the stock NIMH battery

Yup. Tie rods and steering linkages are also different due to the Revo's wider stance.
How fast is the Slash run?
I didn't get any exact measurements. Online it says around 30mph. It's pretty fun and it's pretty quick for its size.
