PNF stretching sounds like DC training loaded stretches or along the same line. Extremely effective for growth and many top bodybuilders have and do incorporate it 👍🏼
Sort of. PNF is contract relax while DC stretching is more isometric and fighting eccentric stretching. Huge fan of DC style of stretching for more advanced clients. Incredibly painful DOMS, but I've seen huge differences in muscle gain and also range of motion and strength in deeper ranges. Can be high risk, but very high reward as well. Dante is a brilliant guy. If you like his information on overloaded stretches like this, look up John Parillos info that he was talking about in the 1990s...he was the first guy I know about that was using extreme stretching to increase hypertrophy. If you can find his books from the 90s, there's some good info in them about it.
Great episode with lots of solid info. That push day @ golds Venice with Luke that he mentioned was awesome. Triceps got ton of work from everything else and then just a bit of the different position work to top them off was perfect. Much love bros 👊🏼
As an ART provider, physio and personal trainer. I can reccomend the self massage of the pec minor, but also subscapularis (a bit more tricky), foam roll lats/teres minor and hang of a bar for 90-120 seconds before overhead work.
Crazy how demand is driving the market. Back in the day it was almost impossible to get real primo. Now it seems to be everywhere. What a time to be alive, maybe I need to finally try a full cycle of it haha
See that's the craziest thing back when I was running tren in my 20s right around 300mgs weekly it was the normal dosage for everyone and it was widely talked about how taxing Tren is on your cardio and not being able to breathe ever so you took time off the tren. Now you never hear about that. Also I've taken ACE inhibitors for years and never had issues with getting a hard on don't let this guy talk you out of bp meds that could save your life. I had high bp as a kid too way before gear and I also take a beta blocker for my heart rate and can get shredded just fine.
Who is trying to talk people out of taking blood pressure medication? I have an entire course on blood pressure management and we talk about different medications and what to expect.
“Your body does t run on sugar” “it uses the sugar to run the chanenems” is like me saying “my car doesn’t use gas to run, it uses gas to ignite the spark from the spark plug and makes the pistons turn the crank”
To use a car analogy, which I'm very fond of b/c I'm a car guy, it's more like saying your car doesn't run on crude oil, it runs on crude oil that's been refined into petrol. Your analogy does work well in regard to muscle contraction and movement 💪🏽
The variation between muscle fibre types is very small. This has been seen in studies in elite sprinters vs elite endurance athletes. Maybe 5% variation either way, we aren't that different. If you ask AI, it will tell you a different amount because it is drawn from old wives tales and speculation.
What studies are you referencing that shows 5% variation in elite athletes? I'd be interested to see the research b/c every paper I've found shows a much larger variance, over 10-15%, which is pretty significant.

Primo is reasonably easy to get in Australia. HPLC tested. Very grateful for the community.
