TOPIC: DO THE THINGS I DO FOR THE LORD MAKE ME GROW IN MY PERSONAL RELATIONSHIP WITH HIM?
First Reading: Galatians 5: 1-6

Gospel: Luke 11: 37-41
In our gospel today, our Lord Jesus Christ reminds us about the most important thing in expressing the faith. He told the Pharisees about the importance of keeping the inside clean and not just the outside. It is more important to take care of our heart and soul; only then will the external religious traditions and practices have real value in God's eyes.
Pope Francis reminded us, "A relationship with God, a relationship with Jesus is not a relationship of 'things to do". Let us then ask for God's grace, that we may not lose our focus on Him as we serve and do missionary activities. In everything we do, let us always return to Him and ask "Lord, how do You want me to serve You today? What is Your desire for me today?",and let our lives be at His disposal, lives truly pleasing to Him.
