“Verticale” is what we call an upright piano in Italy, and that’s exactly what this virtual
instrument captures in detail: a beautiful, intimate upright recorded both natural and felted.
Recorded with four layers of felt (to our knowledge this is the only quadruple felt piano available!), Verticale is an exquisite mix of lo-fi nostalgia and cinematic emotion. The natural patch is pure and warm, the felt is rich and mellow… it's a pleasure to play and instantly useful.

Please consider releasing a straight forward dynamic and very closely miked upright.

You can get both from this! Both SDC and RBN are very close, specially the SDC (a pair of Neumann Km184), use those only without the room. As for dynamics, use the Natural patch, it has no felt and multiple dynamics.

Hi Andrey, 3 velocity layers, 5 round robins. The dynamic range knob allows you to increase velocity responsiveness “faking” more dynamic layers.
