Is it just me or did the older shows take their time to create the best memorable theme songs they could, for ex, moesha, the parkers, a different world, martin, jamie foxx show, and i could go on. But we knew ALL THE WORDS to all of those show intros didn't we. Nowadays great theme songs are like disreguarded -__- Tv just isn't like it use to be.

IMO this was a very underrated show. I alwayz liked the series storyline of a elgible bachelor celebrity sportcaster, who suddenly becomes a full-time dad when his ex-wife decides to accept a job out of the country and his teenage daughter moves in with him and he raises her from high school up into college with some bumps along the way. I wish they wouldve gave them one more season I wanted to see what would become of Bre and D-Mack. I still have a major infactuation with Kayla Pratt and I alwayz will. Thats that shawty.
This show was my preteen and teenage years! I remember watching this show on UPN when it first aired and continued to watch it on "The N" for the very last season. One on One was the greatest shows of the early 2000's, I wish they could sell the series on DVD, I would buy the whole series in a heartbeat like no joke.
I will always love One on One, esp since it came out back when I was living with my dad and me and my dad had a bond just like Flex and Breanna, I was like wow finally a show I can relate to about a young black woman who lives with and loves her dad, my dating and school life was just like Breanna's too🔥
Last season in California (opening song included) was complete dogshit, it was more a spinoff than anything else and a shitty one at that, One on One ended after Season 4 in my opinion Season 5 was just a bad dream Briana had before attending her first day of college

Me too,TV d'on changed in 2006, it went bad.This show use to come on Monday nights 8-8:30 PM on UPN, after the show ended UPN became CW.Seasons 1-4 I was in high school 9th-12th grade when Sicily & Kelly Perin waqs on the show,after I graduated high school,Ray J & Kel Mitchell joined the show on it's series 5th & final season,their only season on the show.
The ending of this show still hurts ! I just watched it tho ! How could they made her slept with D-Mack !! Since season 1, I wanted Brianna to be with Arnez !!!

I grew up with this joint, man lol. The 90's and early 2000s were truly the golden age of black television. Nothing has been able to filled that void since. Everybody Hates Chris was the last great black sitcom. The few black shows we got today are not competing with the classics.

I'm a huge fan of Tonex, even moreso in recent years, but I always thought this was sang by Shanice and Brian McKnight. Tonex is soooo versatile! I can obviously recognize the tone that he used here now that I know it's him.. but wow he absolutely killed this.
Netflix brought me here. Was trying figure out the female vocalist duh of course it Shanice. Her and Tonex aka b.slade killed it. Both are vocal powerhouses.

This show, All of us, My wife and Kids, One on One, and All of Us was like the last wave of good quality black sitcoms. There currently trying to revive black sitcoms, but it just isn't the same. This show is underrated and always left out the conversation when talking about great black sitcoms.
Season 5 was the death of the show. It was all over the place creatively and the nore you think about it, it's as if Brandy and Ray J try to hijack the show and become the new stars

Especially that white guy.(no offence) but i never felt like he belonged on the show. And i hated season 5's theme song remix.
