      Honestly. Especially that part where he wasn't called for negotiation on a new contract, due to David Moyes being silly. While Rooney who still had 2 years was being called for negotiation. Also, the part they lost the second UCL final they reached to Barcelona. I hope David Moyes gets sacked at West Ham. I am so mad that he made us not to see or watch Vidic more 😭😭😭. To think he didn't even last long at United. VIDIC was right about Moyes not knowing what he was doing kind of!

    • @DilbertWhitehead
      @DilbertWhitehead ปีที่แล้ว +4

      @EVAA so true re Moyes. I felt the same with Mourinho and Ronaldo. Knowing he wanted to come back when still in his prime and yet we wait til he's coming to the end and bring him into a toxic debacle of a side to a new fanbase of haters. The drop from Vidic to Jones, Smalling & Co was immense. So glad we finally have a decent pairing again

    Why Vidic is my favourite defender isn't just because he is an incredible player... but his personality screams to you even as a kid. I saw his love and strong, warrior mentality towards the club which clearly reflected him as a person and I will always love him for that.
    It turns out as an adult we are actually similar in terms of how we see things in football and life in ways but not entirely... and that may be because of me admiring him as a kid so much.
    Him, Nani, Wayne, CR7, Paul Scholes and Edwin are my favourite United players but I'm quickly loving Lisandro... and I'm glad Vidic see's him as a similar way.

I know that his biggest achievement was to play and score against Partizan Belgrade in the Eternal Derby and he did, everything else after that is just additional making him the best CB that ever played in the Premier League (Sorry Rio, you're the second one in my list 😂). Rio and Nemanja the best centre back pairing ive ever seen. You guys were the rock that gave the rest of the team the safety to go and win games. Fantastic to see you both talking like this it brings back very happy memories of you both for me.

    All these former United players interviews are mint.
    The long form format really makes a difference compared to a 10-20 minute interview you would see on TV.
    Keep them coming!

    So good to hear my fellow Govanite Sir Alex sounding so healthy and well.
    I’m a Rangers supporter and his Aberdeen side were our nightmare, that’s when I started watching United when Sir Alex left us alone to give us a chance up here again. I could enjoy him tearing the EPL up as I could never enjoy him against us 😂

    That interview blew my mind on so many levels how a Cb of that level can be so humble is something a lot of this generation could learn from. He was twice named the Player of the Season in 2008/09 and 2010/11 so arguably the best Cb in prem history. I was blessed to watch this team guided by Sir Alex and man I took it for granted because that will never be again.
    Thank you for the memories and thank you to Rio Joel and Ste for the best podcast content on TH-cam 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
    Love that Man Utd swooped in and did the deal fast taking it away from Liverpool 😆 then they signed Agger instead 😂😂😂😂

      As an Arsenal fan I really hated to see Vidic start against, I really hated watching him play against us, loved him outside the pitch and this interview even brought more love.
      First time watching a United channel without hearing bias opinion from the panelist.
      If United wants to get back to where they were they need more Vidic opinion than Neville. Vidic is straight no sweet talking just giving facts.

    This is the best interview I have watched on FIVE. Vidic was being modest with the VVD comparison because he knows there is no way in hell a defender who runs away from attackers is better than him
