- Silver goes to Angel Island to warn Knuckles, but when he gets there he runs into Knuckles and Rouge fighting over the Master Emerald! Tikal and Chaos appear out of the Emerald and are displeased with Knuckles. Chaos fires Knuckles from guarding the Master Emerald as a result of his failure to keep it safe.

It's not his fault that other people try to steal the Master Emerald, Rouge can stop if she wants but just doesn't, meaning she probably has some obsession over it. And Eggman is an evil asshole who takes it for his own selfish desires, it's not Knuckles' fault that this happens constantly.
Also, he shouldn't have to do this alone and if it wasn't for his ancestors, minus Tikal, being power hungry jerk-offs then Chaos wouldn't have wiped them out and Knuckles wouldn't be saddled with this burden

Interesting, cool, and funny vid. It would’ve been interesting if Silver had to guard the master emerald and then Sonic or any of the others came by and saw that; their reactions would’ve been interesting.
Seeing Knuckles so sad actually destroyed my soul. At least Rouge was there to comfort him. I think if she wasn't there Knuckles would have just flat out ended it all right there. like he probably would of yeeted himself into Lava Reef Zone and burned alive if Rouge wasn't there

Tikal the Echidna and Chaos Zero should know that everybody and everything always takes the Master Emerald. Without it the island fall down so Knuckles need to be out and even Rouge should not get to far in our life too. I hope everything goes okay for them. Technically Knuckles could bring the M.E. with him. We've seen in both SA2 and (haven't seen it yet but there are the trailers) in the Sonic Movie 2 that it can shrink to be a slightly bigger Chaos Emerald so he just needs to make sure no one takes it from him. He can keep a satchel or something

I Know that a lots of people will kill me after I said this, but I can't help but think that Silver would be great Guardian for the Master Emerald,, Silver was the only charcter who was called by Tikai herself among all other characters and Silver hás the qualities tô bê a Guardian: Brave, loyal, compassionate, , kind, ,high sense of duty and Justice and strong both phissically (thanks tô his psichokineses) and emotionally (I Know hê can get sometimes upset easily and turn into his Dark Form but a litlle training and meditation sessions can put him in his tracks).
But I'm proud that Silver helped old Knuckles tô gain back his job, his passion and his Pride. Good job Silver, perhaps this wasn't the fight time tô assume the positivo, but when It comes, I Know you'll do a great job along with ruling the Sol Kingdom with Blaze when you become King (I Know Blaze said that he'll bê a Prince onde she become Queen, but I don't care, I see him as King, and a great King hê will be)

That carries the morbid implication that if Knuckles failed at being the guardian of the Master Emerald, he'd feel like his life has no meaning and maybe try to commit suicide.
And that's wrong! This is why making him the last of his kind was a bad thing, this should be someone's burden, not Knuckles'. He needs to live his own life, he can't just tie all his sense of self worth to one thing because if he fails at this one thing, then he'll view his life as having no meaning.
You might think I'm looking too deeply into this but this kind of thing happens to people in real life, because they devote themselves to one specific thing they believe their life has no meaning if they fail.

Yes I agree. Knuckles is not dumb, just a little bit naive because he was stuck on Angel Island his whole life. I am really happy that SEGA realized this, and that Knux will soon get his own TV series
