- "Would you rather have a good cup of coffee or tea?" My answer: "why not both?" In this video, I'm going to show you how I like to make one of my all time favorites: Hong Kong style coffee milk tea.
► Cold Brew Coffee:
- 40 grams (8 tbsp) whole coffee beans
- 280 grams (10 oz) filtered cold water
► Directions:
1. Grind the coffee to a medium coarse size (about the size of coarse sea salt)
2. Put the grinds in a jar and then add cold filtered water to it
3. Set aside for 12 hours or overnight
4. Filter the coffee grinds out and then place in fridge until ready to use
► Hong Kong Style Coffee Milk Tea:
- 60 grams (2oz) cold brew coffee (from recipe above)
- 10 grams (2 tbsp) loose leaf black tea (amzn.to/3Xqn9yq)
- 200 grams (7oz) hot water
- 400 grams (7oz) of ice (divided into 2, half for the shaker half for the cup)
- 30ml (1oz) sweetened condensed milk (amzn.to/3UYanpu)
► Directions
1. Add tea leaves into a teapot, fill with hot water and steep for approximately 10 minutes
2. Add condensed milk and half of ice into a shaker while tea is steeping
3. Strain tea straight into the ice/condensed milk in the shaker after 10 minutes is over
4. Shake for about 30 seconds to 1 minute
5. Add the rest of the ice into cup and then pour the milk tea in
6. Add the cold brew coffee
7. Optional: sweeten with simple syrup if you prefer it to be on the sweeter side

Oh my gosh, this looks amazing! As someone who can never choose between tea or coffee, this is perfect 🤭 All your videos are so nice! I love the coffee bean grinder!
😋
I've never seen a manual grinder like that, but I can see how it gives you a lot of control over the grind! I might have to get one for myself!
It's a Porlex manual grinder. I like it a lot since it has ceramic burrs and allows you to control your grind size to be very even from a fine espresso all the way until a coarse French press grind.
How about Hong Kong ice lemon tea for the next video? Great video btw 😁
Just made this drink this following the video. It's great since I prefer tea over coffee! Suggesting a jasmine base drink for another video?
You got it. I have been experimenting with a jasmine yakult idea. Will film a video once I get the ratios right!
On screen note said "condensed milk". Looks like sweetened condensed milk. A bit of a difference.
I believe unsweetened condensed milk is the same as evaporated milk?
