    Great looking Tanks, lovely aquascape. That diamond star goby is a jumper, you definitely need a lid on that peninsula. It's just a matter of time.

    Great update man. I just got my Oase 850, so far so good. Hope you'll be able to sort out the air bubble issue soon

    Dmitry- I’m glad for you that your PB tang looks like it’s turned the corner for the better. I had one that was eating great and very healthy but it was bullied by my female Oscellaris clown and my yellow tang. It was getting skinnier but was still eating and then just disappeared one day. What a huge disappointment. Did you have any trouble with bullying when you introduced your PB tang?

      I had some - but there is tons of space in the tank where they can hide and move to, plus there were a few other tangs in there so it worked out. But it is always a hit and miss.

    Wow your tank is gorgeous very good job!
    What do you run your nitrates and phosphates at?

    • @TreasureCorals
      @TreasureCorals  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thank you Yusef, if you click on the link in the description you can actually see my historical nitrate and phosphates measurements from the beginning of the tank. I aim for 5 ppm nitrates and 0.1 phosphates, but was never able to achieve this low phosphates in my tank - it is usually double of that.

      @@TreasureCorals 🤦‍♂️ sorry I should’ve looked harder!
      I think your tank for sure has room for more growth!!!
      Reefing is a beyond crazy hobby it’s extremely complex ecosystem and biology going on inside one of these glass boxes
      I’ve had corals stay the same size for years when I was a beginner and I’ve also had the same ones double in size in a month when I figured out how to reef for growth
      Imo if you want the max amount of color and growth you’d wanna turn the skimmer way down and dry skim (pulling to much kills beneficial bacteria and pulls nutrients)
      Id run no filter socks and carbon dosing would also allow your corals to feed even more on excess nutrients/bacteria which in turn is max growth 🙂
      Ps I think your good at .01-.03 phos I like to keep it low for coral calcification process
      Nitrates however I think as high as 30 good color and growth also gives room for higher alk and more par on the corals for even more growth

      @@yusef54321 Excellent points, I also do not run carbon or filter socks on my tanks. The skimmer always runs on this tank and I try to run it on the dry side. Excellent points - I am a big believer in high nitrates.

    Dmitry, good afternoon! I also have hydra 64, coral SPS LPS. I'm looking after your tank, the corals are growing well, Could you tell me what characteristics of the light? What time it turns on and off. Which channel is working by the hour for how many percent? It's very interesting, because we don't have many hydra in Moscow. What is the length of the tank?

      Андрей - я недавно выложил видео, в котором все показываю и объясняю. А аквариум можно посмотреть по ссылке на Акватиклог - он у меня 5 футов.

    It could be drawing air at one of the conection on the suction line

    • @TreasureCorals

      Possible, I gave up on this filter

  • @richardportelli1983
    @richardportelli1983 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    Have you tried just tilting the filter to let the air out?

    • @TreasureCorals
      @TreasureCorals  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yep, I do this and it gets the air out, wait another 2 hours - and the same amount of air gets in the filter somehow.

      @@TreasureCorals I would assume that your inlet pipes are not 100% air tight.

      @@richardportelli1983 Quite possible, although a strange problem that I've never come across before. I am expecting to try the clamps sometime next week and will report on it.

    I would try to seal all the connections on the intake pipe. Or try using an intake pipe from another brand. If you have no water leaks then 99.999% air is drawing somewhere from your intake.

    • @TreasureCorals
      @TreasureCorals  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thank you Richard, I will first try the Oase clamps and then if that does not help will move on to focusing on the intake pipe. One item at a time so that I can isolate the cause.

    I feel like the industry needs to focus the price of coral on weight. If that coral took 3 years to grow very little I’d want as much weight as possible on the frags. We have a per polyp price on Zoas so I think we need a per gram price on some of these expensive slow growing acros
