I found by pre-loading your up shifts (slight up pressure) on your shifter it will be less clunky. I have a 2000 RT. The whine from your gearbox......they all do it!!
Hi! Is it a normal shifting sound? I have the same on my bike since a bought it and I worry, seems to be rough, especially from 2 to 3. Does this problem gone after you repair the gearbox? Thanks.
Павел Андреевич ....sorry that i answer that late. Yes i had to repair the gearbox for 2 times. Second time i changead every bearing and sone other parts. Since the second repair it ist very very quiet. The bike have now 130 000 km and the gearbox i think 60 000 km. And i still use the bike. In some of my latest videos from this year in Albania you can see.
Nicholas Mumola i still drive the R1100RT because its my most loved bike. But since one year i drive an Öhlins landing gear with short aspiration at the propellor shaft. Nothing toucht since that

fresh gearbox oil helps for the clunk-shifting. and shift hard and firm!
I change it every 5000 km. But since this vid I had to repair the gear box. The 2. gear was out of order

коробка не Hondа, конечно. Поэтому так громко. По движку - нормально едет.. Не боись - нам на этой коробке и движке - тоже хватит покататься..
