The problem with the nigerian teams still continues. Everyone wants to show off forgetting the game is a team game. Imagine Olusegun who's supposed to lay someone up for a goal decides to go for it himself. Is this the way they want to achieve the world cup glory again? A medida que avanza el mundial los equipos van mejorando en cuanto a confianza al jugar, la química entre los jugadores y las tácticas las van mejorando, por eso ahora Australia ganó.
Lo que pasa es lo nigerianos le dieron descanso a sus estrellas ya que igual sabían que ya estan en la siguiente fase

Lo que paso es que con Hungría y Ecuador los jugadores estaban agotados y ahí fue donde Nigeria aprovechó y ganó, de hecho, si te acuerdas, los nigerianos iban perdiendo hasta los últimos 15-20 minutos, aquí los australianos supieron como proteger el balón para no perder en el final.

Right from their first game, the Nigerian team play too individualistic, and have a porous defense. They won't go far in this competition. Played the same way during the u-17 African nations championship, they don't play as a team.
