That seller had really high prices of his wares at 1:42 in. Not surprised he was still hoping for a late sale at 1:30PM. I got up so late and arrived after 12:30 but only needed some tubes, which I got. Everything else was what I could grab from the donated free stuff no one else wanted by 1:30. Got a nice C725L Zenith AM/FM tube radio for free.
Bob, there may still be online a service that duplicates those Crosley knobs. There have been videos showing how to duplicate a knob at home, using molding compounds.
Hey Bob, sure you know this but on those missing Crosley knobs, the Horz./Vert. knobs are two knobs. An outer and an inner. Just like the on/off-volume/contrast knobs. However the brightness knob is different. Larger single shaft and it looks like an outer/inner knob combo, but it is actually one single knob.
Anyone know the average going price for the R-390A receiver nowadays? ,(I'm in So. Cal.) not museum quality, just good working order, original parts. Thank You.
When you say something like " I'm not going to walk around and instead pan around so viewers don't get sick " tells me a lot about your charter as a youtuber
I don't follow. Walking with a camera causes the image to go up and down which I dislike and I assume you do too. I thought that panning might be less annoying for you all.
@@bandersentv That's what I mean, a lot of youtubers wouldn't give a damn and they just go against the viewer because of laciness I meant it in a good way as it shows you have good charter
Bob - Thanks for giving us that didn't attend a chance to see some of what we have missed. (Too hot for me, I stayed home).
I had no idea these events happen. Will be looking into if anything like this is in my area.
Sure contact your local antique radio club.

Nice Radiofest; a goldmine for antique radios! Bob, glad to see you were able to score some useful items.
Good to see Doug
Miss his videos
Me too. I love that he even drives old cars everywhere. I thought I was the only nut who doesn't own a new car.

Yes, Renovated radios. I'll leave that up to the owner of the set if he wants to pay the setup costs.

Yes. Same as the RCA version. Going to be really tough to find
Another super supremo antique radio flea market is the Kutztown PA event held twice a year in spring and again in fall.
Absolutely. Best in the US

13:20 make a direct audio and video input and install a converter box if you can't find the tuner. The sound and picture will be super sharp.
Was that Doug as in drh4683 youtube channel?
Yes, it sure was
I take it most have not been recapped. Might be hard to find a untamperd with.
