Amazing review, I have changed to the cloud II from the G PRO bc of the comfort and you're on point, they are far away more comfortable than the g pro. The only thing is could you show your eq settings? would be great. Thank for your job man.
Great comparisson bro. You can feel its from a legit gamer for gamers not a seller who obviously recommend the most expensive in the end. Now Im not that suprised that cloud2 are used in pro fps gaming more often than g pro instead of unlimited budget of pro players & price difference (which in europe is pretty significant - clouds2 are 2/3 price of g pro x) Now Im definetly going for cloud 2.

Probably the issues with your mobile phone are caused by the different impedance which the phone does not expect (or like). Phones use impedance to detect the headphones features and controllers

They're not saved, but I just increased the bass a bit for most instances and use them by default normally.

I was searching for more than a day for a perfect headset that fits me, i play rainbow six siege a lot, mostly addicted to fps and long long session of gaming, therefore comfort is a key for me. Already got myself a usb mic, so the mic quality don't bother me, so my final choice made is the Cloud 2, thanks to your in depth reviews. 💯
@Dee Vallar i got u bro, but not now, i will test with it few days later, as I'm currently having exams. Also just received my cloud 2, they are so comfy and music wise is good enough too.
@Dee Vallar so after 2 weeks of usage, mainly on rainbow six siege and normal music listening only, i need to say that this headset is the best for the game for audio quality and comfort. It has so much details going on and should be fine for u to grind the game.
@yassir Sr im gonna be honest with u, there's no perfect audio device for r6 because the game's audio is already trash since long time ago. I've been playing siege since 2016 with different audio devices and I really feel that there's none marked as better to one another, u can just slap in your phone earphones and play because you really can't expect good audio quality from the game itself.
@yassir Sr as to your main question, i highly recommend cloud 2 because both surround sound are trash, however to compare long-time comfort, weight and pricing, cloud 2 obviously is the winner here

I'm not very into bass, I don't like to "feel" it and I only play mobas so immersion doesn't matter to me, I want sound accuracy. Which one of the 3 do you think is the best for that?

USB just because it gets a bit louder, but that's the only difference.

Yeah, it's still really good. The sound isn't drastically different from the Cloud II.
Hey dude the hiperx cloud alphas are at 86 bucks and the hiperx Cloud II Wireless are at 94 bucks should I get the cloud II for that little bit extra I want them for general use not mainly fps games thx beforehand
General use I'd get the Alpha definitely. It's better for more use cases, especially when you EQ it.
What's your favourite headset you usually use other than this (astro) ,i had so many headset and they all go down hell after time my gpro wired i can only hear from one ear audio is bad
My new favorite is the Drop + Epos PC38X. Definitely my main and I'm making a video on it right now.
If all your headsets are going bad, it might be stress on the wires though so something wireless might be a better option.
I play warzone a lot on PC. I recently bought a hyper x cloud alpha but after watching your video I was inclined towards cloud 2. Should I return cloud alpha and buy cloud 2 or Can you please suggest equalizer settings for cloud alpha for playing warzone? Thankyou.
You're good with the Alpha. You don't have to do anything crazy - just boost the sound around 4Kz. That's around the frequency that affects footsteps the most in Warzone and Cold War. There are some legit EQ guides, but I find just boosting that by ~12 dB gets you a similar sound to the Cloud II, it just won't be quite as loud.

@@osITTI Yes, when you save your settings to the dongle itself it works on PS5 (or any console). This is for the Logitech G Pro X.
Cloud 2 and Alpha can only EQ them on PC.

I have the Logitech Pro X for a while and i'm really disappointed in them, so much that i just ordered the HyperX cloud II.
The reason for this is the volume of the Logitech headset.
It's very low volume.... 😞 .
My new HyperX should be here tomorrow... Can't wait 😀

@@LucasSilva-dz7hg the HyperX Cloud 2 is way better in terms of volume and clarity. I like them allot, much much better then my Logitech Pro X.
I’m using my onboard soudcard that is on the MSI Z370 SLI Plus mainboard.
The volume is way louder and without any changes to bass or treble, they sound well balanced and without distortion.
The Logitech sounds muddy and volume is way low.
I also love the control box for volume of the headset itself and for the microphone.
I like the buttons more then scroll wheels that you see on most headsets.
My opinion is that scroll wheels can over time become loose or crackling may occur over time.
With press buttons like on the HyperX Cloud 2 none of this will happen.
Also when you clip it on your shirt, you can’t accidentally put the volume down or up course you have to press the button instead of a scroll wheel. “I like it.”
Sound is also very good, good clean bass and a very wide mid and high stage sound.
I wish I found these headset earlier.
Most of the time I buy the expensive stuff so it must be good right ?

It's gray with the black knob on top. Around $50 and gets the job done. My older PC's motherboard had weak sound, idk about my new one. But this gives really good boost. It was shown on Randomfrankp's channel. I would recommend you get an aftermarket usb cable for it as the one equipped with it is kinda cheap.

The original cable is cheap and had issues. But maybe get this if you have issues with the cable it comes with.

@Didaka Still pretty solid. I do find sound to be good all around. But I do use an amp/dac device, which helps increase volume and quality. I use thicker aftermarket ear cushions for added comfort and sealing. But it's not necessary to get aftermarket ear cushions. It hasn't broken on me.

Hello Bro! Im from Argentina (LATAM), thank you so much! Im going to buy hyperx Alpha S with a Lot of sacrife because this buy means like a half of a salary in muy country. I Will use it for coding, study (like zooms), listen music and movies, and play some videogames. Im going to change bad headfones for this, Do you think this election its correct for my needs? I Will need use it for hours and hours. Alpha S or Which one?
The Alpha S is the best sounding headset of all the ones I tested so it's a great choice. But if you're using it for many hours at a time, I think the Cloud II might be better just because the ear cushions are softer. Sound isn't quite a good, but it's super comfortable.

I bought the G Pro X last week.
I was super hyped by those but i'm very disappointed...
Why you're wondering ? Well it's because of the comfort which is absolute crap. My ears are touching the drivers and after a couple minutes it hurts so badly.
I've tried the leather and cloth that comes in the box but even with both it hurts.
To push things further, I also bought 3rd party earcups (don't remember the brand but they were more padded) and even with them the comfort was non-existent.
I returned them.
Yeah, I wish the comfort was the only issue. The sound is absolute dogshit compared to by Cloud II's. Pro X sounds so muffled and muddy, I truly do not understand how so many reviewers say they are good.
Have you played valorant or csgo? If so,is the cloud alpha a good choice to hear footsteps?
I'm an absolute novice at Valorant, but I did some testing just to see, and the Alpha works well with it. Footsteps stand out well.

Probably Cloud II overall. I like the Alpha too, but I've been playing a lot of Call of Duty and also sometimes I need to be at my desk for a long time so I need maximum comfort.

Cloud alpha is much better. It sounds decent, isn't muddy and doesn't bloat the price tag with useless software.

Elaborate on what would make me biased towards the Cloud II. It doesn't affect me either way which one people buy.

I'm about to change over for something else, Im having to watch reviews, and only on this channel the cloud 2 seems to come out on top every time, the last channel it was the Razor v2, another review you did with the vs cloud 2.
I see other reviews say this headset is miles above.
If the reviewers are going to be so mixed, I have no idea who is right or right or maybe, neither. Makes no sense, i detect its more about reviewer preference really which is not helpful so far because I do not know who is talking BS and who is not.
I saw the headset that you considered the best but there almost 300£, that's shit loads, no longer budget at that point.
@@alanandconnielast The Cloud II definitely does not come out on top every time on my channel. The Penrose, Astro A40, A30, and Drop + EPOS PC38X all beat it easily.
It sounds like you're looking for an objective answer to a subjective question. If I gave you two flavors of ice cream and asked which one you like better there's no wrong answer. And just because other people choose a different flavor doesn't mean one of you is BSing.
The same thing goes for sound and comfort. The exception is a frequency response graph. Those vary wildly depending on the testing method, but if you insist on wanting something concrete, go to Soundguys or RTings and base your purchase off of those graphs.
If you don't trust reviewers at all, just test them both in the store. Or buy both and send the one back that you don't like.

I mostly meant behind all the typos - I had seen the same test, the same show down as you have done here and others have said the opposite or they concluded the sound was just better on the Logitech.
I live in England, its to bloody cold to go out and to wet so I will look up the headsets that you said were better.
I watched the video you did when was a run down of all the headsets you own, the C2 came second and the 300£ headset came first.
