Round 1 Mustang Memorial 2023 - 1:64 diecast racing tournament

- A competition only for '65 Ford Mustang Fastback diecast cars. These custom cars are racing for pink slips and raising money for Paw Justice New Zealand.
The new track is longer, with more twists and turns than the previous track, plus there is live traffic to deal with!
The Mustang Memorial is an annual competition we run, to support different charities. This year it is www.pawjustice.co.nz/donate. Check out their website to see what they do and why and you can support them by either donating or purchasing some of their merchandise.

Some very sweet paint jobs on these cars. Really hard to pick 1 best overall but I'll go with Patrick Feral for originality and back story.

Some wild racing there - and I don't think it's just because they're Mustangs! Credit to James Ironbeard for taking out both lorries and staying on his wheels!

Totally loved this. We were laughing and cheering and crying at the end. We would have crushed the fasted time..... if we could drive straight ;) I'm bias of course, but I'll vote for my car for the best paint job. If I can't vote for myself, we decided that Big Mike should get it out of this group. Seriously though, this was so much fun to watch! Thank you!
Total Chaos, just love the Mustangs… James Ironbeard, knocking down the trucks was Best in the Show for me.

I stopped, looked, sniffed the air...nothing. Nothing at Turn 1. No donuts at Turn 2. I even drove right to the end and the only thing I saw was a Biker Bar 😭

Best in show for me today was *Big Mike* - great looking, and with performance to match (usually).

hey, i like the new track! you only have to change something on the corners so that the cars don't falter so much and run for smoother ones. the city in the background is great, the moving cars make everything look much more alive. did you get your inspiration from Miniatur Wunderland? really good job and keep it up. What's going on with the track you guys??? Way too many DNF's for my liking. Too much open track racing and the track is a little too wide in some parts. Love the commentating and scenery and really wanna watch this channel but unfortunately the racing is just not quite right. Hope you read this and would love for you to fix, thanks 👍👍
