Hi! Is it okay if i only used 1 string of the 4ply instead of 2 strings of 4ply?
You can but the bag will be big or small it depends on how big yarn you use. :)
For each round do you end with the same stitch as the first one? For example in round 3 you started with 1 puff then 2 puffs, on the 10th set the last stitch should be 1 puff?

If you have 8 ply, it's is perfect! :) I don't have 8 ply so I used 2 strands of 4 ply.
