Glad to hear Bullard is moving around smoothly out there. Excited to see him and Xavier play together.

Everything I have seen about Bullard I am supper impressed with. If he brings even half the excitement and energy he did to finding out he was going to be a Packer to the field, this kid will be DANGEROUS!

I watched all that I could about these rookies and I see character. I also see the potential for depth and some hole being filled. Keep it about the team and they will succeed.

I am super excited to see what our defense is seriously going to become!! Watching the mini camp highlights really makes us want more highlights of these guys we just got! Cooper and Bullard are massive impacts, Lloyd is gonna be so freaking fun! Love how we got fresh new bodies in from UDFA signings! They can become something special. This team is seriously locked and I can’t wait for July and August and then September!!

360 carries and 8 fumbles you can bet most teams will be going for the ball when Lloyd carries it. I hope he cleans that up.

That's a fumble on 2.2% of carries. Or at 20 carries a game 1 fumble every 3+ games. Isn't that about average?
Way back in the early sixties the rap on 3rd string HB Elijah Pitts was that he fumbled too much. But Lombardi used him to spell Hornung or Moore frequently and by late '67 he was a starter. (And the Packers were 2nd in the league in running that year using multiple backs from Anderson & Grabowski to Wilson & Mercein to Williams & Pitts.)
Lombardi made Pitts carry a football wherever he went, including the shower. Teammates made him a special handled football so he could carry it like a purse.
Somehow I think Lloyd will be fine....😅

@@Nightwing300 I know. Being 72 I know alot of old timey Packer stuff.
Lombardi was going to trade Pitts but traded Earl Gros instead, who also was fumble prone. He was a FB and Taylor seemed durable and though Hornung and Moore were high calibre HBs they didn't have the speed Pitts had.
Gros was traded along with Allpro center Jim Ringo to the Eagles, where he continued as an Allpro. Lombardi was afraid at 30+ Ringo was too old plus he was small and right about now DTs around the league were getting bigger, stronger every year. GB got Caffey in the deal who they needed cuz Forrester was retiring at rightside LB.
Plus when you negotiate a new contract with Lombardi it had to be one on one. No agents.
So Ringo shows up at Lombardi's office with another guy and they sit down.
      "Who's this?" Lombardi asks Ringo.
      "Coach, this is my agent."
"Excuse me a moment" Lombardi said and left the room. About 5 minutes later he comes back in, sits behind his desk and says,
"Our meeting is concluded. You now belong to the Philadelphia Eagles."
