    This guide helped me to remove HTC desire 826 battery too
    only difference was that 826 doesnt contain that 2nd extra plastic.. it has just the outer cover
    Thanks

    Can you recommend a good strong replacement battery for the HTC 626? Some that you can order won't last as good as the original will.

      +Chris Williamson The main thing I know is look for OEM quality. I have a link in the video description below the video where you can find some.

    My Desire 830 ran into a problem recently. It would die instantly at around 20% of battery. And when I rebooted it after I started charging it says 1%. And it's happening more and more frequently. I had this phone for not even half a year and I don't even overcharge my phone. It reminded me of my previous phone, Desire 816. I had it for a 1 or 2 years I think. And it also started to die instantly, from 40% to 0%, 60% to 0%, (that situation is actually progressively getting worse), pretty sure it even had a record of around ~70% to 0%. I'm fuc*ed. I think the 830 is gonna be just like the old 816! Dayum! Any suggestions to what do I do?

    • @SmartEasyDIYer
      @SmartEasyDIYer  7 ปีที่แล้ว

      +Joshua Pao It sounds to me like the battery is on its way out. Batteries die really quick sometimes when they get worn out. It shouldn't be worn out that soon but it happens. I would try replacing it that's probably the cheapest place to start.

    I dropped my Desire 626 into some water over a week ago , put it in a bag of rice for a few days , luckily everything works fine except when I plug it into the charger it wont charge past 1% (sometimes it gets to 4% then drop back to 1%). Is it possible the battery got water damaged ? Would replacing the battery MAYBE fix this issue ?
