You're doing a great job. You seem to be really level-headed, and troubleshooting appears to be pretty good. I know it is a hard job, but keep your head up. I like your approach to each service call. You are very thorough. The comedy makes it much better to keep yourself sane. I enjoy your service call videos. Be safe.
Great stuff, thanks for sharing. The beginning of heating season is always hectic. I always told my customers to turn the heat on before it gets cold to make sure it works. But of course not everyone listens.
I was on a service call the other day. The gentleman spoke polish. He called his brother to help break the communication barrier. Ended up still having a lot of static 😂
Get yourself a pair of YakTrax for those icy rooftops. Walking around on top of a Little Ceasars yesterday in a strip mall, inch and a half of ice over steel roofing, never slid once. They're like 30 bucks and will legit save your back and maybe your life.
Good call on that heat exchanger... sounds like a new unit for sure. Almost impossible to find replacement for some of those ancient units, and I have no idea what those rooftop units are like, likely the same as a furnace though.
typically they end up quoting the entire thing, from heat exchanger to inducer to gas valve, the whole nine, which will take forever...and the unit is still ancient lol
I have an old reznor hanging propane furnace iny shop. It works, but before the main fans and kick on, the inducer fan runs for what seems like an eternity.... 4-5 min in reality, but thats excessive rigjt? What does that mean?
Ok what I would do is go to work for a company that does not work on boilers they are a pain in the ass, your company is very confused. It sounds like your dispatcher does not ask what the problems are, and the expansion tank is on its side, they should not be mounted that way. Good video.

I enjoyed watching the entire video, I’m sure a lot more than you did making it on another crazy work day👍

Look at the cable going into the disconnect @4:46 it's frayed through the outer insulation ! I hope it's earth bonded.

That high voltage coming out of the bottom of the disconnect going to short out looks like lock ring failed and wires touching side of the opening
