Thank you so very much.
Hi, Doug. I luv your tips. 😊 Thanks a bunch
Thank you for your feedback!
It was wonderful. It's always amazing learning with you bro. ❤
Thank you so much my brother!
Bom dia Rodrigo. Como vai você ? Tudo bem? (Perdona. Meu português e muito mao.) I'm not going to continue in Portuguese because my command of Portuguese is poor and I'm making a fool of myself.:) Anyhow, good video as always and I must say your ear for languages is amazing. (I hear no Brazilian accent in your English whatsoever.) Interestingly enough, a lot of "White folks" here in the United States use the same contractions heard (and shown) in this video. Also, watching videos always brings a smile to my face because in my head I can "hear" my (black) friend Carlton and my (mulatto) friend Trevonte. ("Tre" for short. By the way, I love and miss them both. I'm thankful to say that we've kept in touch.) I wish more teachers and professors respected and valued Black English as much as you do. "Dis a baaaad video!" :) (I actually mean it's excellent.) Keep up the good work.
Thank you so much for you kind words my brother. I’ll keep on working on them vids.
@@EnglishBlackFriday By the way, I don't know if you've ever heard of Judge Greg Mathis, (usually just referred to as Judge Mathis) but he has a TV show and many of the episodes are available on TH-cam. He's Black/African-American and code switches frequently on his show. (He almost always uses AAVE when he's annoyed. The angrier he gets, the more you can hear it.) I think you might enjoy watching/listening to some of his shows, even if only for linguistic reasons. Keep up the good work! Your videos are always interesting and well done.
One more excellent video! Congrats , Rodrigo. Tô começando a me apaixonar pelo Black English também,por causa do seu canal. Finalmente fiz minha primeira viagem internacional.. 🙏🙏🙏
Oh maaaaaan really? Tell me about it, bro. I'm interested in knowing about your experience.
@@EnglishBlackFriday I was doing an exchange program for two weeks in Malta. I also visited Italy on the trip. It was an amazing experience. I already want the next one...here on my channel I have a video about it. check it out, If you can!

Ain't was put in the English dictionary just over 10 years ago
This is awesome! I didn’t know about that.
Olá Rodrigo! Your video is wonderful! Thanks! Tenho uma curiosidade:
Na letra da música: Black, Brown and White do Big Bill Broonzy (cantor de blues norte-americano, o qual viveu aproximadamente entre os anos de 1893 e 1958 no Arkansas), aparecem as seguintes formas: They says and They was. Estas formas ("says" em vez de "say" e "was" em vez de "were") são características do Black English?
Obrigada!
Yes.
