I agree with the last comment how scary it is always for kids upto age 10....why it has to be that way I also dont get. why can't there be yiddish plays with a nice story and a beautiful thing to learn from???
It looks so scary. Why do they always have to make something about a child being kidnapped. My son is always so scared and cries during the scary scenes.... I always buy the DVD for asura b'teves but this looks extremely scary!
yeah. why a kidnapped, frightened, tortured child every time?? I have a video clip where I videotaped my son sobbing hysterically while watching one of the plays a few years ago when the kidnapped child is crying for his father. I can't do this to my child, put him through the emotional heartbreak of watching such a play... I'll just find some funny comedy clips on youtube for him to watch instead. It's such a shame they make it so crazy scary every time.
With all due respect, not every show is made for everyone. If your son can't take it, maybe it's just not for him. Maybe try to explain to him that everything he sees on the dvd is fake and show him behind the scenes first...
