My habit is really stupid so i'll only share it here 😁 I plan my work outfit the night before and hang together. And i even put down underwear and socks for the next day. No idea why but it saves so much stress in the morning. I can get dressed while still half asleep Upd: thanks for all the love and feedback 😊
Definitely not stupid at all!! I do it mostly the night before an expected stressful day (my style is lazy enough, so I mostly don't need to think in the morning anyway.) But it's so great for all the nights you go to bed knowing the following morning will tend to be stressful to become a little calmer. 😅
I am from Estonia and we Estonians love our tomatoes - they are like candy to us, especially when it is tomato season in the summer and your mum grows kilos of them. In every party or hangout with girls, when we need to bring our own snacks everyone will bring cherry tomatoes, and they will all get eaten. My British partner constantly tells me how weird it is though! 😂 So, I am glad you mentioned cherry tomatoes as yummy snacks!
drinking more tea and not having that second cup of coffee has been lifechanging!!! i used to always have a coffee before i record a podcast or youtube video and now i always make tea because i want to be super relaxed x
Reading before work is so great. I used to miss reading during my commute, but now I sometimes just pick up my book when I am drinking my coffee instead of my phone . Very relaxing way to start the day
I love that video!!🤍 the best feel good movies in my opinion are: breakfast at tiffanys, mary poppins, notting hill and midnight in Paris!🥰 i wish you everyone who is reading this a peaceful and beautiful day!☁️
This past year has definitely shown me what lovely friends I have, and that I've finally eliminated all of my past toxic relationships. At the start of this year I made a "I forgive you" list, not to show anyone but just for myself, to actually forgive and forget all the people who has hurt me in the past. A wonderful exercise and a great way to let go. Great video as always! Ps. Team night owl🦉
Uplifting tips Jenny - thanks. I have to admit, I could do with an upgrade from the green tea tea bags! What's your go- to brand and also Sencha, which I'm open to trying?
Be active every day! Trying to move as much as possible, it gives me more energy through the day and the adrenaline of working out or going for a walk makes me happy ☀️
Loved all the points you mentioned especially keeping your favourite fruit/ healthy snack easily accessible in the fridge or cupboard. Yup, I have stopped reading newspaper and it is doing good for me 😃
I am very much the opposite of 'wake up early' and 'same meal every day'. But having healthy snacks ready to eat is definitely something I need and have been trying to do more of lately.
YES the smell of oranges! When I cut oranges I leave the peel on the counter for the rest of the day instead of throwing it in the trash because I just love the smell so much! But only in these colder months though because banana flies.
Great post! Great reminders. Reading chapter books at night with our kids has been a wonderful escape before bed - so many good, Doctor Dolittle, Charlotte's Web, The Incorrigible Children of Ashton Place, Harry Potter, the list is vast and fun. As for personal reads, I have been drawn to rereading old favorites, Pride and Prejudice, Jane Eyre, Anne of Green Gables, Little Women...etc
Identified with a lot of this. Really like the idea to have healthy snacks ready to take from the fridge. Also the similar dishes every day with different veg.
Night owl here! I used to get up at 9 every day but since lockdown my schedule completely switched and I found something very relaxing about working later hours or at night.
I'm more of an early bird than night owl. Ideally I go to bed around 10-11 pm and wake up around 6-7 am. I also love to feel like I have lots of time in the morning before I have to start working. But with my current job I start at 6 so I have do wake up at 5... it works fine for me though. I really have to get some new and healthier eating habits and get more veggies in my diet. Been comfort eating a lot of salty, fatty snacks the last few weeks...
I always struggle with leaving toxic people. In my case it's my family. It's not easy to leave family and there's a lot of good in the bad you had to give up too. It's hard
I live in the eternal conflict of being both a nightowl and an early bird, I love mornings and evenings and work well and have lots of energy in both. Maybe the answer is to start taking daytime naps ...
Would you do a quick demo of how you make your tea?! (How much proportion of sencha vs matcha, how long you steep the leaves, etc.) Thank you for the video!!! I loved it
I am not sure about the tea ..... really do you think last time I tried matcha well it wasn't good !!! Apart from that big query can only say ... porridge is the best anytime day or night.
3:00 Organic baby carrots. I can live on those with a bit of peanut butter. Been making a cup of Thai rice, and eating that for two meals mixed with an egg at each meal, the last week myself. Can have different meals with different sauces and additions. Toasted sesame seed oil. cashews. Garlic. Whatever.
Thank You! Jenny, you are a chameleon.....you have the ability to look so different, sometimes I have to look hard to see if a photo is you. Great reminder to somewhat stay on track....without beating yourself up.
Gerald Durrel "my family and other animals". Best book for cosy feels. I keep it by my bed in case I have a nightmare as reading it never fails to cheer me up :)
Love this content Jenny! 🙌💕 I’ve been a massive matcha fan ever since I worked in a tea shop. It’s been said that matcha has the same caffeine as coffee BUT it also has zinc, magnesium and iron which is usually zapped from your body with coffee which is why you get so dyhydrated. Matcha so healthy 💯! I’m such a night owl as well but my husband gets up at 5am! 😝 Still four years in struggling to find a balance 😑😴
My body is a night owl but I enjoy being an early bird. I have no issue whatsoever to stay awake through the night but I always struggle waking up regardless of how many hours I have slept. But I realized that I am not productive when I stay late however I am very productive in the morning and I feel proud and accomplished when I start my day early. 😬 Quite the conflict eh?
One of my favorite daily habits is going out on my "tea walk" first thing when I wake up. I seriously just make a cup of tea and take out the mug (not a to-go-mug, a normal glass cup) with me, walking around in the park that lies 2 min from my apartment (Uppsalabor var är ni :)?). I don't plan where to go, just stroll around and it's AMAZING guys highly recommend. Great way to start the day and get a clear mind instead of looking at a screen first thing.
Some topics i would like to see, more visits to modern and/or minimal designed small houses. Japanese cooking/foods/day to day rituals. Enjoy what you guys do now. PBH
the BEST comfort series is "Please help me ". It's funny, cute and I've watched it at least five times. You can find it on Netflix (at least in Sweden:)
Night owl, but I rather get done working with clients earlier in the day. So, for productivity, mornings are better, and for raw enjoyment, a night 🦉 schedule is better.
OMG I'm watching this whist sorting my washing + eating the same Ella nut butter balls you just mentioned! I had to pause to give myself a pat on the back. Yay for small but healthy wins!
Night Owl Drinks: 2 x cups of home-brewed coffee with Bonsoy or Mixed Berry Shake in morning/Green, Chamomile & Chrysanthamum tea with Star Anise & Cardamon Movies: 90s French films or 70s Italian Giallo Horror makes me happy Books: Interior decorating on Wabi Sabi/Rustic style or Fashion books Scents: Sexy perfumes (i.e. Nasomatto/Piguet/Fragonard/L'artisan Perfumuer, Penhaglions, Luten etc. Natural scents: Grapefruit, Hay, Blackcurrant jam, Strawberries, Lemongrass, Honey, Fresh chillies, Stovetop Coffee, my dog's head-which smells like pastries, late night nature scents on evening walks...mmmm
Thank you, Jenny for another great video. May I ask for the dinner recipe? I've just googled it but it lookd totally different than on your yummy pic. Do you use also glass noodles on top of it? I'm just guessing what the white stripes might be
Omg, do you watch Mission Cleopatra in french or in english ? I'm french and I (and most of us, mostly my generation) think it's the best french comedy movie ! (and it's non problematic) But I'm wondering if the jocks are well transcribed ! (So, if there is an english version, I'm so curious !) and I'm so happy you like it, it's hilarious !
Me an early bird, my BF a night owl. Often I am crushing with fatigue while he is at his best. It strangely works now as I observe we have each the time on our own within the course of the day even when together :)
Love this but can’t agree on tea rather than coffee. I love green tea too, but that’s the afternoon. Morning is a carefully brewed pot of Chemex coffee from fresh ground beans. Heaven.
The fridge cam is a very cool perspective. Let's have more fridge cam! Dear Jenny, pls make some food content. How do you cook? And what exactly do you mean by "cold steamed broccoli"? It's so interesting. You are amazing!
“This is not the time to be perfect.” I think we all need to hear this right now.
My habit is really stupid so i'll only share it here 😁 I plan my work outfit the night before and hang together. And i even put down underwear and socks for the next day. No idea why but it saves so much stress in the morning. I can get dressed while still half asleep
Upd: thanks for all the love and feedback 😊
That's not stupid at all! I do that too, and whenever I forget I waste so much time 😅
Same! If I don’t do this I resort to rushing and choosing an outfit I don’t like as much
I do the same thing! When I wake up I just want to put something on and not be cold, without having to think about it too much.
It’s not stupid!!! If I don’t do this, I’m bound to cry from stress when I try getting dressed LMAO
Definitely not stupid at all!! I do it mostly the night before an expected stressful day (my style is lazy enough, so I mostly don't need to think in the morning anyway.) I am from France and went to Estonia 3 years ago in Tartu, I had such a great time there! Estonia is beautiful and you guys are really nice people
@@patisaurus4046 i love the concept of a spirit country 😳
I’m in the night owl club. Up late, sleep late.. work when everyone’s asleep and have all the privacy and quiet time I need ☺️
Ha! That’s amazing, good for you 👌🏽 I’m actually the reverse (early bird) but for the very same reasons.
drinking more tea and not having that second cup of coffee has been lifechanging!!! i used to always have a coffee before i record a podcast or youtube video and now i always make tea because i want to be super relaxed x
So soothing

Thank you for sharing this, I'll definitely try it
hope you're feeling well
Are you still associating with them?
Oh my gosh mixing a bit of matcha into your sencha! 😮 Why have I never thought of this? Definitely trying that today
Uplifting tips Jenny - thanks. I have to admit, I could do with an upgrade from the green tea tea bags! What's your go- to brand and also Sencha, which I'm open to trying?
a movie that always makes me feel so happy and relaxed is "julie and julia". its just lovely.
so true, it's one of my comfort films
My favourite movie! Always will put me in a better mood when I'm down! X
I find Jenny’s energy to be so warm and welcoming, would love to meet her in real life!
Lockdown made me do it and now I'm a passionate: Having a walk EVERY day🙋🏼♀️
same here 😊 I feel strange if for some reason I miss my long daily walk. It's healthily addictive.
Such a great tip about considering 'who we actually wouldn't mind staying socially distanced too'. Thank you!
Be active every day! Trying to move as much as possible, it gives me more energy through the day and the adrenaline of working out or going for a walk makes me happy ☀️
So true
Loved all the points you mentioned especially keeping your favourite fruit/ healthy snack easily accessible in the fridge or cupboard. Yup, I have stopped reading newspaper and it is doing good for me 😃
I LOVE reading before work!! Makes me get up early as well so I have more time to read and drink my PG Tips tea 😊
I am a reluctant night owl.... I want to be a morning person so bad, but waking up before 9am makes me feel physically sick 😭
check your chronotype! there's no one-sleep-fits-all
I am very much the opposite of 'wake up early' and 'same meal every day'. But having healthy snacks ready to eat is definitely something I need and have been trying to do more of lately.

Nothing puts me in a better mood than Grace and Frankie ( Netflix)!
Your food allways looks so delicious! I'd like to see more recipe or what I eat in a day videos
I loooove rewatching "new girl" over and over. So lovely and hilarious at the same time. 💕
Great post! Great reminders. Early Chick and I am a newbie...researching better ideas as a minimalist and came across your space!
I always struggle with leaving toxic people. In my case it's my family. It's not easy to leave family and there's a lot of good in the bad you had to give up too. It's hard
i can totally relate to this...
Can you make a video on the three meals that you mostly eat sharing the recipes?
The best tea is Hill Country Tea. Authentic single estate unblended tea. They also have amazing green tea! You should try it. They are online.

I live in the eternal conflict of being both a nightowl and an early bird, I love mornings and evenings and work well and have lots of energy in both. Maybe the answer is to start taking daytime naps ...
How many times I tried to go to sleep earlier, but I can't asleep. Thanks for great video 😊

I am not sure about the tea ..... really do you think last time I tried matcha well it wasn't good !!! Apart from that big query can only say ... porridge is the best anytime day or night.
Lots of water during the day for hydration. That is something I tend to forget but it's so important.

Earlybird!!! I too wake up extra early so I can savor the time alone before work.
So lovely! Agree with it all.
What brand of teapot is that!?
"a yummy fucking treat" hehe, this made me laugh. I've just started watching your videos and I'm already loving your vibe and content.

Thank you for this beautiful video!💕
The fridge cam is a very cool perspective. Let's have more fridge cam!
I'm glad that you have realized that "coffee is a drug" (quote) and drink something slightly different now.
#3 is why I am single again for a few years now. I was about to work on finding a new l*ve when l*ckdown hit last year, and now, I don't really know what to do about it. There is enough of zoom during the working hours already. Do you have any suggestions?

I tend to dig deep into my music collection these days and rediscover favourite tunes new and old. And by that, I mean concious listening instead of letting it play in the background of some other activity.
Took a long bath, light some candles, drunk alcohol free beer and watched "School of Rock" lol.
I like the TH-cam channel good mythical morning they keep it pretty light :) your channel is great too of course 👍
Dear Jenny, pls make some food content. How do you cook? And what exactly do you mean by "cold steamed broccoli"? It's so interesting. You are amazing!
Cook the broccoli by steaming. Eat cold.
