We'll explore Primark together, where I try on some plus-size garments in the changing room to give you an inside look at their fit and style. I am in my early 50's - 5 feet 2 inches in height and currently wearing a UK Size 22-24 - living in Kent (the garden of England).

I have limited mobility due to having Parkinson’s and can’t walk far without pain but shopping in a wheelchair, which is a new thing to me, isn’t much fun, although better than nothing…… my mum tends to ask me what I want to look at and then wheels me just past it while she looks at it herself LOL! 🥰 still I am very grateful to anyone who will push me around in order that I can get my shopping fix!
I was most impressed in your shopping centre to see so much public seating as it was the lack of it in so many shops and precincts that persuaded me into a wheelchair, cos of the constant need to sit! Grrrr
I really wish Primark had an ordering online facility, but maybe that’s to come! They appear to carry an extensive stock and variety of everything if the range of flip flops is anything to go by……bewildering!
It was interesting to see you try on, you really took one for the team there Angela! My thinking has always been that the lower end stores like Primark probably skimped on fabric and sizes, and since becoming a plus size myself, I’ve avoided them but I do like the look of the Homeware section!
I love The White Company too……costly but class and definitely high end!

I'm mindful of what I would like to watch on YT and I'm trying to film and edit as best I can. I was really unsure how this 'out and about' shopping trip would translate to screen, but overall I'm happy, so going forward there will be more 'out and about' videos. Hi Angela. I hate shopping in Primark, I think the sizing is all wrong and they skimp on the cloth. However I think the light weight denim dress would look lovely as a duster coat over white wide leg linen trousers and white vest top. Thank you for sharing and trying something new. I never used to go into Primark and quite by accident I realised things fitted. I love the t shirts and hoodies some joggers.
But anything that’s fitted does not fit my weird shape legs too long body too short arms long.
Matalan seems my best bet at the minute and I’ve had lots of nice bits at normal prices and good quality.
But oddly it says on web curve up to size 22 yet they go up to a 26/28 maybe just a misprint. There jersey trousers are so nice if a little over sized as I go down a size.
Gone are the days you could go into bhs and get a 24 trousers off the rack seams we’ve gone backward even though there is more money for plus size.
That said I get thin privilege of just going in and picking it off the rack and I thought at size 14 all would be easy yet I range from a 12 to 18.
I’m still annoyed Joe brown sells to the lager size but not through there web it’s either simply be or fashion world it’s as if we want ya money but not seen to be selling to you.
Ya mam and dad are proper cute.
I avoid the Trafford centre it’s just a nightmare and it’s lost so many shops I’m surprised it’s still going. We have Cheshire oaks by us that started out as a bargin place now it’s just pricy but my chemist is there.
I want to try Abercrombie jeans as they do a range of sizes and seen loads raving about them but each time I look the mini leg size is sold out.
Hi, found the same in primary, materials quite cheap and I think they do not help us larger ladies. I find some of the separates better.

The problem with that wrap guess you need to be really small bust to carry it off. I am the same as you . I just love that mono print t shirt and skirt or trousers really smart for smart / casual look. At the end of the day if you want that extra cut there is a price to pay as I found out the hard way. It’s not a shop that I would go to to be honest with you but at least you tried on things

Hi Angela I find primark clothing do sitting on tidy I am 22 sizes in. Clothes but they do have some nice shoes thank you for sharing this video ❤
Hello Alana, To be honest, I wasn't impressed with Primark clothing but as you say, their footwear was great for the price. I wasn't enamoured with their bags or jewellery either. It's one of those shops that's hit and miss - some days you could visit and come out with a bag full and other days you'll leave with nothing - as was that day. Hello Judy from America! Primark in Britain is very popular but it's never really been on my radar, as you say it's very shoddy fabric, so called cheap and cheerful or disposable clothing - I guess if I was smaller some of the items would be okay, but I was very disappointed. aw shame about that first dress in Primark, with the polka dots. It was fab, and yep, the only one for me!
On a more serious but loving note..those with parents who are still with us. Please record and film many moments with them. My Mum passed away 3 and a half years ago and I cherish what recordings I have of her, video or phone message, even missed facetime videos...after they are gone you will keep watching them time and time again, huge comfort.. :))))) ❣

I visit my parents daily, as my dad has dementia and I try and get them out and about every week. There'll be more 'out and about' videos now this one has been received so well. That is my nightmare...trying on clothes in the changing rooms. Always look bad and just end up feeling hot and bothered. The stores should look after the customer better. More mature women with non-standard bodies are often neglected and undervalued. Thanks for allowing me to see the dresses without leaving my home.
Thank goodness for tea and scones….you deserved two scones after suffering that small fitting room. I felt hot just imagining how it was. I had a Primark visit earlier this week it just couldn’t find anything other than one blouse. Their household stuff is good though. Thank you for braving those fitting rooms!xxLiz

Hello Linda, As previously mentioned, I can't please all of the people all of the time. I personally like watching car scenes on YT to see the environment. There are people out there, watching my videos who have never seen the outside of Bluewater and I thought it was a nice touch. Plus it wasn't 2 mins of vehicle footage it was 30 seconds.
