The problem is various types of machines that are being used in india some are very high end which can be compatible with ai some are old as in most govt hospitals , this results in low resulution images which ai has to fill upon that can create various discrepancies and sometimes it can make a wrong connection which can result in catastrophic results as the algorithm is continuously changing and learning, and the biggest problem is if it does make a wrong connection among all that code it is nearly impossible or very very expensive as to where it has made a wrong connection and why this is called the black box problem , for eg while differentiatind dogs from wolves it made a wrong connection about snow , where it though that all places where there is snow they are wolves while other places it is dogs sometimes massively comprimising , and once some one picks about aome thing that an ai has done wrong , it would most probably have happened with thousands of other patients as it applies the same algorithm to everyone which will result to a class action law suit resulting to millions of dollars in liabilities if not billions and who will pay then a hospital is bound to be bankrupt by this and even so a large ai company , so even if just for legal issues radiologist are here to stay this can happen the other way round too as in legal companies scanning radiologist scans and finding out what they have missed and will result in a lawsuit so in future ai and radiologist have to work together and as ai would bring up more and more information for eg in the xase sir has explained above as to arteries in retina ammounting to risk of atherosclerosis , there would be a seperate classification as to when it is significant and when not all these things radiodiologists will need to learn and upgrade themselves
It will all come down to Politics & Laws... If idiot politicians decide that AI is good enough for diagnosis & radiologists are not required in the name of cost cutting for patients will give rise to private Franchise kind of setup which will then lead to drop in radiologist jobs.... Americans would be the first to do this as always 'coz they are run by greedy corporations & it will be pushed by private insurance companies who have a lot of influence in policy making when it comes to Health Care in America..... Now how other countries adopt it should be seen... AI along with Augmented Reality can fast forward this where machines could scan & give diagnosis in real time.. This technology is still a few years away but in the next decade we might see this in reality...
@@residentdocVlogs no radiology is more easy to commercialise like hiring for online work which they tale commission so it will become corporate suffer for radiologists

Ai be it in autopilot or autodrive or ekg reading it cant replace humans it will only assist
Google works on ai ..has it replaced doctors
U are our inspiration sir ... take regards from our side
Radiographer replace hoga k nhi plz reply?
sir very thank you i was thinking a lot about this..
How to be associated with AI,it's the future
To jao machine learning jo engineering fields me hai... Ya phir Medical research me jao usme AI use hota hai ...
AI is may be threat but interventional radiology is saviour
dm's are doing their own interventional fellowship
@@vamsikrishna-8510 what do you mean by that? Do you mean that DM in interventional radiology people are conducting courses for other radiologists?

It will surely decrease the demand of radiologist
If so then many will loose their job... Not only radiology...
It will only assist radiologists for better diagnosis
