Grandma in the first case is just hateful beyond all reasoning.
Especially since the young lady resembles her a lot.

She reminds me a lot of my bitter old hag of a grandmother... Hated my brother and I because of who our dad is and other set of grandparents were distanced from us because of who our mom is. The only bio grandparent that we had that treated us like humans passed when we were 8 & 11. I'm happy for,but also envious when I hear/see people with loving grandparents and now my kids only have a grandma and she's too caught up in herself,as she always has been,to worry about being grandma. I don't expect her to raise my kids,but she lives 10 mins away and has seen my kids 3 times for about 20-30 minutes,if that,each time, in the past 6 months. She use to put forth the effort when their other grandma was alive,but when she passed,it was like her competition was over...

In the 1st one, she looks just like the father's mother. Imagine a grown woman being so hateful to a child.
Not surprising some these Elderly people are mean and hateful and they wonder why these younger generations don't have respect for them. They no longer live by that respect your elders.

That first case really broke my heart because this young woman was literally fighting for her life, her truth, her history. Hearing those results was actually so bitter sweet because it’s wonderful she’s gotten the truth but it’s so so unfortunate that this disastrous old hag is her grandmother.

Mr. Carrol's episode will forever be my favorite. I've never seen a man fight for his child with such passion🤕 His conviction & relentless dedication is awe inspiring and tear-jerking. A true father, happy he got got the results he deserves.
It always gets to me/annoys me when a man has been denying a child their whole life, years of being nasty to them, and yet when they are proved to be the father, they hug and say " I love you". Like..where was this love a few minutes ago..years ago? Like..Ugh 😒🤦♀️🧐

@@Danko31 Don't you realize that doesn't matter, she had a life of group homes and foster homes when she had a living mother and father. What a horrible unloving childhood instead of Christmases with mom and dad, she was always with strangers.. Nobody can make up for the love she never had.
I think my favorite all-time episode is this one with Mr. C., who kept insisting that he was the father of that beautiful, young girl and he actually was. When the judge read the result, I wept with joy for this wonderful man and for his lovely daughter!
Mine too...kept on repeating it....he had no doubt whatsoever in his heart.the saying " Mama's baby daddy's maybe" simply did not apply to him and it was refreshing to see that in a father.

I was overwhelmed with emotion as I shed tears. Despite all the denials, he is indeed the father. This show is special in my heart as it provides a therapeutic experience always.

The wife in the 2nd case is not as good as she made out. Remember the daughter said that the wife would challenge her husband asking him why is he doing certain things when he's not her father. She 2 faced. When the result was read, I heard the wife saying, "Now everyone can stop saying he's not your dad including myself"
The wife didn’t dislike the daughter. She wanted her husband to stop obsessing about the daughter being his because the mother said she wasn’t his daughter. But still put the plan in motion to get to JM for DNA. But in the end she was happy for all. The plaintiff knew in his soul she was his blood. Where was the hairdresser? What will he have to say? 🤔
That sister in the last case was annoying af, grandma in that one case needs to be thrown away herself 😂

Wow wow wow!!! I thought for sure based off the look the mother gave at 14:00 he wasn't going to be the father! I'm happy for her that she was right, but that man lied his way out of paying child support her whole life, and the grandmother is awful. I would walk away. The truth is all I would need from them.

I believed the girl, when she said, the woman cursed her out , for introducing herself as her granddaughter, and threatened to smack her. I could see the striking resemblance of the girl and the elderly woman, also, she had the gentleman's eyes , too. The elderly woman, is still in denial, after the DNA, proved, it was her granddaughter. If that woman, doesn't change, her evil ways, Heaven, may not be available, to her. If I was the girl, I wouldn't eat any meal, at the elderly, woman's house, nor take my kids to visit her. Her vile

I felt the hurt and confusion for the girl in the second case 🥺 that step momma was so fake after and stole the daughters whole moment.
Because of the step momma, they all know the truth who the real father is. She took them to the show.
I'm torn on how I feel. On one hand, the wife was the reason they were all there, plus she was feeling a certain way because the mother emphatically said that her husband wasn't the father. On the other hand, she should have allowed him to embrace his daughter after the results were read. Obviously, he wanted to go straight to her. After all, he fought hard and maintained that she was his daughter.
The first one is sad because her mom is getting no grief even though this girl was raised in group homes. That’s sad! She can say her mom didn’t lie and she thinks he’s lying but if he thinks he’s not the father then how is that a lie? That’s what he thinks. Doesn’t mean he’s right but that doesn’t make him a liar.

I think she meant anything she’s ever asked her mom, she told her the truth whether it was good bad or indifferent. As far as the man, I think IF he actually did receive a letter concerning a paternity test and it said 99.99% anything, it was that he was NOT EXCLUDED and that’s probably why he thought he wasn’t and I’m sure his old bitter hosebag of a mother enforced his belief. I’m 99.99% sure that’s why he didn’t hang on to that letter. Also, a friend of mine had the same thing happen and the biological father signed his parental rights away and that’s why he never had to pay child support. I think there’s a lot more to this story than what tiny bit of info was in the show.
Best of luck to this young lady and until his mother passes on, she will not allow him a minute of peace if he’s trying to forge a relationship with his daughter.
***Just out of curiosity, since she’s 26 now, can the court make him back up and pay or did he did get out of paying CS for those 18 years when she could have desperately used the money??

Believe me many of us have had dads and still make horrible choices in men! My dad never went to a father daughter dance or played games with me. You have to stop thinking everything would have been perfect because it makes you feel worse than you should and like you missed so much. Obviously her mother wasn’t good either. That’s horrible. I feel sorry for her but she needs to stop thinking life would have been perfect if this and that because it will just make her feel worse. She has had a terrible childhood because of her biological mother and father whoever they are.
TRUE but even a non involved or non affectionate father in her life does make it better. Just knowing who her father was, and being able to talk to him occasionally would be better than growing up in group homes and foster homes. She literally has no happy childhood memories.

In the first case what an incredible beautiful young lady, her mother so humble and the father was kind of ignorant. Even if the Department of Child Services made a mistake he was not paying attention to the DNA results at all. If it's 99,9 % is always positive. If it's negative it's 0%.
And her grandmother is so proud and has such a bad temper that even after the results she was still saying it's not true. She has to learn that it's not that hard to accept when you are wrong and just let it go and start from that point. It's the right thing to do.
That’s all I can think about: negative results on paternity tests always read “0% probability “… I actually thought that’s what the expert was there to say 🤔

A mother would do anything to support her child. They'd walk over hot coals, they'd throw themselves in front of a bus if it meant saving their child's life.
If a child is removed from her care, then she's an unfit mother.
If she placed the child in foster care & group homes, that's even worse.
No real mother gives up her child. You'd clean public restrooms if it was all you were skilled to do in order to house, clothe, feed & educate your child so they had some chance at a normal life.

2nd,mom gave her daughter middle name Jessica and his name is Jesse. Meaning she didn't tell him in the hospital or she wouldn't have gave the baby a form of his name. And the first name from his family. Mom lies. She passed the baby off as his whether it was or not. But kept the child from him after they broke up.

The grandmother (mother of man) in first case is mean. The man is a mean person too. It’s not appropriate on Paternity Court that grown men are permitted to bring their mothers with them to court. It cheapens the credibility of the court proceeding and makes it look more like “entertainment” instead of a legitimate proceeding to determine who is the parent. In real court, these “men” wouldn’t be allowed to have of all people their mothers standing there with them!
