List is screwed up. No15 is faster than no2!
Meanwhile, in the US, we're arguing about what a woman is.
I think people who don't want to have sexual relations with women can call themselves women
Not sure how identity and trains relate, but you can thank Republicans for not boosting initiative into high-speed rail
And at the same time we are all going to baseball games and eating hotdogs, meanwhile dogs and cats are sleeping together.
Sounds like amazing trains. Hard to believe #1 isn’t available until 2045, I will already be in my early 50s by then.
I don’t think 2045 and they never said about release date yet. They expected to finish Nagoya to Osaka in 2037. But living in Japan, it might extend to even more since some part of Japan doesn’t want to destroy the mountains and forest.
The railways look really impressive. The development of railways and the introduction of modern speed and safety systems is development of infrastructure. Congratulations on the development of infrastructure and TOP 👍
Great respect for all
Best wishes from 🇵🇱
Cool!
リニア新幹線営業速度500km/hはすごい。乗れる日を楽しみにしています。
As for the No. 1 train, the prefecture in the middle of the line is against the start of construction, so although the train itself is fast, the speed at which it opens is extremely slow.
If these trains are design as capsule loop module it'll definitely attain utmost speed than currently being through
This video makes no sense at all... You can't compare trains on iron tracks and megnetic trains. It's not the same thing.
Also, commercial speed and max speed aren't the same thing too.
For example the Fuxing's max speed is 420km/h but the commercial speed is 400km/h. However, TGV's max speed is 578km/h but the commercial speed is 320km/h. So the TGV is still the fastest [real] train on earth today.
Finally, the AGV is 2nd??? Wth?? It's not even the fastest train!!
Correction: As of now, the latest Fuxing series operate at 350kmh commercially but it's max speed is 400km/h. The test speed record is 420km/h. The next Fuxing series train will operate at 400km/h and will have a max speed of 450km/h but is still under testing.
@@BukuiZhaoChina sometimes hypes their achievement so we can't judge their announcement is true or not. Say truth please.
@@user-bn5bw2xv7j Can you please give an example of when did China ever hype their achievements?
@@BukuiZhao idk about hyping, but its really a question of money. Reaching high speeds like china is easily applicable in europe, except those speeds require exorbitant amounts of money, for maintenance and energy draw. In european countries, its not worth the money, while in china, they have the money to do that -- yet they still had to reduce the shanghai maglev speed too 300, probably because of operation prices. So yes, china has those speeds, but an ICE3, a ETR1000, or a TGV can easily attain those speeds too, without big train modifications.
JAPAN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Beautiful metro station from Nepal 🇳🇵
The US is so behind when it comes to any advanced form of transportation
Talking about the design, these trains look like planes on rails without wings. My choice would be No.15. As I see placement in this video is quite subjective. But the video is very informative. Thank you!
Japan's high-speed railways are on a different level.
Chinese Fuxing train is amazing too! fastest rail train ever 450km/h!
My dream is to ride these trains, do you agree with me?😂😂😂
Yes. I'm a hi speed rail nut case. Not only that it would help l a with its homeless problem by allowing development in that empty space between l a and Bakersfield.
Meanwhile here in Hungary the State Railways urge people to use other ways of public transport due to the recent heatwave. I could cry.
When it came to the spanish raills (Talgo), you spelled it Taglo but it is spelled like it is written. (Tahlgo). And when Talking about the ICE 4, there were footages of various Siemens Velaro (ICE2/ICE3 trains). The ICE4 is currently set to max speed of 265kmph (which is about 1170mph). But otherwise it‘s an impressive video again.
P.S.: We don‘t spell the ICE trains (Ice as in ice cream) but rather Ei Ce Eh (because ICE stands for Inter City Express). Interesting also that you already have shown concept arts of the Velaro Novo which is part of the ICE 5 generation project which will replace the ICE 3 (Velaro) by 2030s, however there‘s also competition from Alstom and Talgo so it‘s not sure if Siemens or Alstom/Talgo will take place to build the new ICE 5 generation.
I’ve rode the one in Paris and the one in japan the first 20 or 30 minutes of looking out the window all you see is a blur then your eyes kinda get use to it but you better look quick
Let's get really crazy. I wanna see one that can go 1000 mph.😂
Suck to live near those tracks. Hafta put new windows in everytime it went by.
You're confusing Operating Speed and Top Speed
China's 2023 Maglev: 620kph
Japan's 2015 Maglev: 602kph
China's HSR network: 42,500km
Japan's HSR network: 2,830 km
Average Operating Speed:
China: 350kph (standardized)
Japan: 160, 250, 320 (not standardized)
Speaking as a Chinese that has ridden both, both countries are impressive. However, Japan originally scheduled to open it by 2027 but it has been delayed indefinitely due to governmental issues. And as for the CRRC 600 in China, there is no official opening date announced yet.
Japan's high-speed trains run on small islands, so there are many curves, while continental high-speed trains run almost straight. High-speed trains are extremely difficult to turn around curves, and high-speed trains can go as fast as they want if they just run straight.
There are 3 main reasons why Japan's bullet train speeds are not standarlized and not running above 320kph.
1. The area where the bullet train runs is mountainous and many curved sections, so the speed is limited.
2. The emergency stopping distance for the train is limited to 4km.
3. Due to Japan's noise regulations (70dB or less in residental areas /75dB or less in commercial and industrial areas)
When running at over 350kph, the noise level exceeds 80dB. Therefore soundproof walls will have to be installed in all sections. And then, the emergency stopping distance will be 6km.😅
In Japan, Touhoku-Shinkansen runs 320kph because less curves. BUT Yamagata-Shinkansen and Akita-Shinkansen run 160kph because more curves.
Actually, run at over 400kph in Japan was already successful in 1996.
Amazing ,i felt want to ride this train

Actually, it IS in commercial service.
It's just not transporting passengers yet.
Only commercial goods.

As the vast majority of global citizens only understand Metric (including myself), it would be wonderful if you provided Metric speeds for future videos. I have no idea what "375 miles per hour" is! Thank you in advance.
It is oct 1st 2023 as of my comment. Yrs later
5:17 The statement about the ICE4 (correctly pronounced I C E 4 - letter for letter and not as a word) is incorrect. The train is not "barrier-free" and has no "low-floor entrance". The train has steps, like every other ICE in Germany, and the use of the on-board lift is necessary for wheelchair boarding. This lift must be operated by train staff and unfortunately this lift is very prone to technical failures. You also have to register the trip as a wheelchair user so that the "help" can also take place. This train is therefore not a prime example of "accessibility".
Shit makes me wanna see a Snowpiecer season 4 so bad
isn's Hexie (和谐) same as Harmony? HeXie is the Chinese pinyin means harmony in En.
Im courios as to why the US has been slow to adopt maglev trains and fast ones to begin with.
Mass transit in the US has never been a priority and rail prioritizes shipping. There would also be major issues with getting “right of way” land for new routes/tracks. Couple that with the lack of mass transit (subway/bus) in most major cities just being able to get from one major depot to another is only half the battle. European and Asian countries have been built around mass transit and understand the benefits more than the individual automobile culture in the US.
Arrogance, stupidity, ignorance… there’s a whole list of these negative words, but you get the idea. Not sure why but for some reason we don’t wana use the metric system either. Or take rugby, make a few changes, and give it the name of an ancient game, football, and it’s not even played by foot…
And that's good. The worse America perform the better for me. I hate America as a nation. I don't hate the people (well. Maybe some). America deserve its downfall, their belligerence and arrogance knows no bound, they ought to be humbled for once and what better way to that end than a collapse of the nation? America wanted to play Cop of the world. They always nagging, moaning, pretentious and patronizing against other nations like they're some sort of moral authority. They set the world standard on everything, for example they constantly patronizes others, especially when it came to corruption and yet. There're multiple high profile cases of corruption within America that is blatant and nothing ever happened to the perpetrators. Epstein case was a great example. America is rotten and it's time for that accursed nation to fall.
@@iteerrex8166 looks like you might want to move to some other country. You're obviously not happy in America. It's kind of funny that so many people are trying to get in the country.
I travel with TGV from Paris to marseille and the ICE train from Amsterdam Netherlands to Frankfurt Germany and in Italy I took the Italian high speed train from Milan to Vince city and all those 3 train the speed was 250 km in hour’s and those 3 European train do not compare to numbers 15 and 14 Chinese train
I wish it on my city
China's high-speed rail has no life insurance🤣
At least they have a good safety record, with only 1 derailment which was over 10 years ago.
Death is the problem
In Indonesia, too, there have been fatal accidents.
This is not the case in Japan
Huh..? 5:50 I don't know who came up with that name - or why - but TGV lead should maybe have a chat with their pr-team...
And to think, here in the UK, we can't even build HS2!!!

Maglev L Series by Mitsubishi is so fast you could travel from New York to Los Ángeles in 8 hours! That would make America truely great again. Not just some bullshit quote on a cap.
why we> dont have this beutiful toys in United States why?? we always bejain???? we need here in USA???
Because Americans are too busy complaining about the cost of gasoline as they drive their hummers, SUVs, and huge pickup trucks that get 8mpg, and use 3-5 times the amount than others - while pushing up prices for those who aren't concerned about status symbols and drive sensible vehicles. 😮
Come to Jakarta, Indonesia 🇮🇩 n try our High speed train KCIC-CR 400 Af (top speed 420 km/h)🔥
@@ericma7641 Actual operating speed carrying passengers is still at 350kph, same as those in China. This is the highest operating speed now for bullet train.
Three major mistakes: You ignored the fastest maglev train currently in service. It's the Shanghai maglev train that travels at top speed of 431 km/h. Also, out of all of the listed trains in your video, the Japanese maglev train is the only one that isn't ready for service until way later. It will be biased to compare a experimental train to current ones that are already in service. If to compare future trains, the Chinese vacuum tunnel maglev train is expected to travel at 1000km/h, which would came on top of the list
US should use maglev track rail train which, i think is much safer than running on top of rail tracks with rolling wheel which could jump off the rail when it run above 200kph/hr.. Maglev tracks put the train secured on its tracks as if it seems like it's lock on the rail of course, rail on this kind of train has good long tracks different to a regular train. 200 kph/hr running on vast land of US is still slow when the distance is 1,000 miles or more.
سلام چطوری میتونم باشما مکاتبه داشته باشم. من صحبت های شمارو شنیدم علاقه مند ادامه آن هستم.
agv only 223m/h why is 2nd in list since are other way more fatser and closer to 1st?
Number 15 is in fact as fast as the number 1. I guess it's just Western bias. Lol.
Luckily I ride the fastest train FuXing Hao in China last month, that’s very very amazing
The transrapid was actually founded in germany, while a test ride with pasangers had an horrible accident they stopped the project and selling the plans to china!
I think MPH was confused with KPH a few times
And in America we have Thomas the Tank Engine
and the hummer vehicle where you can waste gas, take up three parking spaces, spend all your money on insurance, paving roads and parking lots all at the same time!
And we get to see how the insurance industry spends our money on incessant commercials with emus and a cutesy dark haired lady.
💚💚 WOW!
The new maglev train being developed in China claims to reach speeds of up to 600 km/h, but it has only been able to travel on a test track of just 1.5 km at speeds of around 30 km/h.
Same with the japanese train. But china does have the fastest operational train right now..
It's a Chinese dream anyway. Even if it were realized, it would not be accepted by the citizens, and it would probably cause accidents and become useless.

Some perspective; The fastest train travels just under half the speed of sound. 😳

08JUN2023 The Two Main and Most Important Criteria for Speed comparisons is MASS (or Weight) and DISTANCE measured over TIME. Let us make a comparison here between these high speed trains and the high speed trains run by the Indian Railways. Approx weight of each coach of an Indian Railways train is 14 to 18 Tonnes and the entire train is of 18-21 coaches long weighing approx a mammoth 250-270 Tonnes making the Indian WAP-7 Engines the most powerful in the World. In comparison, the total weight of each of these 3-9 coach high speed trains is a mere 33 to 50 Tonnes. In terms of DISTANCE, the Indian Railways covers a distance of approx. 65,000 kilometers which remains unmatched anywhere in the World. It runs 12,617 trains to carry over 23 million passengers daily - equivalent to moving the entire population of Australia - connecting more than 7,172 stations. Indian Railways runs more than 7,421 freight trains carrying 3 million tonnes (MT) of freight every day. Statistical Comparison : INDIA - Ridership 8,086 billion; Passenger Kms 1,050 trillion; Freight Tonnes 1,208 billion CHINA - Ridership 3,660 billion; Passenger Kms 1,470 billion; Freight Tonnes 4,389 billion.
Love comparing this to Dublin's DART. You can likely run faster than the DART.

Would you be a lady with very long hair? I find that feature quite stunning, describe it and how it looks on you?
China is seriously prototyping the CF600 maglev at over 600 kph with goals of 800 kph. It is wider than standard gauge passenger trains at about 4 meters. Full implementation should use double width of about 8 meters the desired ability since the start of the railroad age in 1840s Great Britain.
The Japanese Chūö is narrower than the standard gauge Shinkansen and seems to be of a width typical for cape gauge 3-1/2 foot trains that is used through much of Japan.
An 8 meter wide maglev loading gauge would allow the easy transport of large assemblies overland greatly changing the world. Maglev trains don't have the width load limits of the rail wheel interface. The 8 meter wide loading gauge would allow stability for three passenger levels. The first level might best be used for cargo with perpendicular simultaneous loading of automobiles and cargo containers from the sides that could take place in a one minute stop. High speed cargo might make profit. Passenger trains tend to not make profit. Levels 2 and 3 could be continues luxury passenger space with vista dome roofs allowing passengers to see forward watching the scenery.
If a train is going to stop every 160 km or 100 miles to allow about an hour travel time to the train stations by automobile that works out to only being 10 minutes apart at 1,000 kph (621 mph). Additional time will be used up in the train slowing down and speeding up. That speed is subsonic which keeps from having sonic booms.
Going at super sonic speeds doesn't really lower travel times that much unless skipping a lot of population areas. To keep from having sonic booms and lowering air resistance traveling in vacuum tubes is a possibility, but people like riding trains to see the scenery. Out in the open at 1,000 kph looking forward from a vista dome roof in quiet smooth comfort is an experience many people would prefer. With 100 miles between stops a 1,000 kph maglev train should be able to go about 600 miles in 90 minutes. That works for occasional distant commuting.
Three hours would go 1200 miles which is Chicago to Denver. This would still compete on convenance and time with jet travel if between city centers with the plane taking 2 hours. It could be argued the maglev could be just as quick as the jet plane if it didn't stop, but the stops are what make the train a better choice for many people. It would come down to also making the train travel ticket price cheap and the experience very good. Eight hours might travel 3,200 miles which is a coast-to-coast distance of the continental USA. This is assuming a rule of thumb that 2/3 the top normal running speed is about the average speed when making stops giving about 400 mph average.
this list is completely wrong xD
The script for this video is abysmal. Research 0/10, pronunciation -5/10

Most importantly, if the railway business does not operate sustainably and in the black, it will accumulate huge debts. If we are burdened with debt and run a deficit, we will only be used for diplomatic and political purposes.
So basically, European and Asian countries were... are still considered forward thinking when it comes to moving a lot of people at a fast, efficient, and relatively safe way whereas North America... in particular, the United States isn't ? Not surprised 🙄😵💫
Why not knip/hour

@topfives: the Spanish train is spelt T-A-L-G-O. Whilst the on-screen credit is correct, your narrator voice misspels it 6 times, calling it T-A-G-L-O. I am sure it is an oversight, but the wrong pronunciation of foreign names/terms is unfortunately quite common among certain English language speakers. The more reason to pay more attention in the future.
PS - Check the name of the city for the first route you mention. Again, is is a foreign term, but there is no reason to mispronounce it with all the resources available to get it right.
Technology in the United States and the previous comment are as connected as if I eat chicken soup it won't snow.

5:15 of course doesn't show an ICE 4-train. It's an ICE-T (tilting train - en.wikipedia.org/wiki/ICE_T). In general, ICE 4 doesn't necessarily say that it's faster than ICE 1 to 3 trains. It's meant to replace old IC-trains (200 kph) and ICE1 and 2 (250 kph). Thus, in Germany the ICE 3 will remain the fastest train. Depending on the infastructure it runs up to 300 kph.
i heard the Soviets had a train that broke the sound barrier in the 1980s. Way faster then your number one and it was a underground metro that worked with giant magnets. No engine in the train itself, the railway is the engine itself. Not sure if its still operational tho.
