I love the idea of having a “dump bed.” Such a good idea & I truly need one because I’m so bad about buying something with no idea of where it’s going to go. 😊 Loving your hosta plants…wish I had more shade.
Hey Jess, love watching your gully coming back to life. That was a very healthy bunny. Seems like weeding is a never ending job. I started a hosta bed last year and I can't believe it came back. Brings a smile to my face every time I look at it I think about all of your hostas and the gully you have created. Hopefully this year I can get some of my woods cleaned out for some more beautiful plants. 🤗💓💕💞
Hellllo Jes, 😊so great hanging out with you. You always put a smile on my face and inspiration in my heart ❤️. Gets me out into my gardens ♥️ I tooo love working in my gardens, pulling weeds cleaning it all up, and get it ready for some new plants. It's so exciting, and it's so gratifying to see the gardens looking so beautiful 😍 and Jes, yours is looking gorgeous as usual. 😊❤ love your Gully gardens . You have such great ideas, and I always love what you pick out in flowers to put in your garden. I did get to clean up one garden today before it started raining again. 😊❤ we have had so much rain. Anyways, thank you for taking us out into your garden with ya. Always love hanging out with you ❤️ 😊 so until next time God's blessings love ya 😊❤❤
Weeding is so satisfying I've been out in my front garden today weeding mowing the lawn and tidying the pots up 🌿🌺🌷 hope you enjoyed your takeaway 🥗 love from Whitby UK 💙
Like you said Jes it amazes me too how everything emerges in the spring. After a dreary winter it is a feast for our eyes ! As usual your gulley is looking sooo good ! I too love my hostas. Aren't the little blue flowers on the brunnera pretty ? Have you every planted Cuphea? The hummingbirds love it!! Have a blessed day !!!
I enjoying weeding after a rain..so satisfying is right! I had a hosta garden for years..I live in a retirement community now with tons of deer pressure. You took that hosta hit way better than me! The gardens are looking terrific! 😊
I saw that you posted a movie and I looked forward the rest of the day till I could spend the time with you. Thank you for sharing your love and enthusiasm. It encourages my soul!
Your gully has really popped & is looking beautiful. I especially love that you were able to put your flag back up & your bleeding hearts are gorgeous🇺🇸🧑🌾
Love the music selection today, cannot go wrong with Merle Haggard, one of my favorite artists. Your garden is looking so pretty, have a wonderful blessed day Jes, 🌳🌼🌸🪻🌺🪴🙏🏻😇
Beautiful walk thru tonight. Your plants are growing so fast 😊. When will you start working on the bridge path ? Looking forward to seeing this. 😊 God bless ❤🇺🇸
You inspired me to make a gully garden down in my woods last year. It is looking good this spring and I'm so happy 😊! I am fighting the deer some but have been spraying and it seems to be working. So enjoy your videos. Keep up the good work!!
Hi Jes 🌺 . Well done . The garden looks amazing after cleaning . The hostas are so pretty . Jes you can add Japanese Maple trees to this area . Have a wonderful day . 🌺🌻🌺
The new edging you & Nate worked on looks really good Jes.. I have a ton of weeds also. I made a new garden bed last fall for shrubs & evergreens and I did not put enough leaf mulch on it in lots of spots and every place that’s weak on the mulch I have a ton of weeds and grass growing ! A never ending battle but like you said, do what you can with the time you have to be out in the garden! I was wondering Something Jes- we haven’t herd you singing in quite some time in your movies.. any particular reason? We all love your voice. Thank you for sharing some of your clean up with us! 😊♥️
Jess, I'm a new gardener in the making. I've enjoyed watching you so much, I've learned a lot. Can you tell me though, how often do you water everything and do you fertilize when things start to bloom or every 2 weeks like some say to do? That seems like a lot.
I deal with that hairy weed too! It is the worst yet pretty easy to pull. You need to get a 20 foot flagpole for your yard and plant flowers around it. I plant Begonias around ours for 20 years now. Always get a ton of compliments. Begonias need very little attention so I love them 😅. Your garden is beautiful
Everything is just so beautiful, Jes. Isn't it amazing how the plants pop up in just a few short weeks? We live in coastal Virginia, zone 7b. It is too late to move a Japanese painted fern?
Hi garden looking good. All my boxwoods got diseased last year. Unfortuately I could not take care and my husband did not pay attention and tell me and long story short, had to pull them in the fall. What variety are yours, love that small mounding shape? Thanks a lot, Nancy
We found one on my brother the other day and i found one on me when i was back near the woods but thats about it. I heard they are bad but thankfully i haven't seen much
Since I’m watching this right after 3 tornadoes ripped through Michigan today, I’m hoping that your alright ? I don’t THINK they made it your way and I hope not, just know that I was thinking about you.❤️💐💚🙃
Sometimes it's on sale here for 2 dollars a bag. I can stack it up and it's easier for me to use in my yard that way then to have it dumped somewhere in my yard and have to shovel it into my wagon and then to take it off my wagon! But I've noticed that at 66 it's all in where you need the mulch. I have an open area near my patio that i have a bulk load dumped because of the size and openness of that area! Cost was a little better I guess, but as I said it depends!
We have done both. For us it depends on the job and the price. I love the bags cuz they are easier to maneuver around but they are usually more expensive than the bulk drop off mulch. However every year the Lowes and Home Depot run a $2 per bag sale and its cheaper than the bulk, so we usually try to take advantage of that!
i heard that too...LOL ya i just kinda let them do their thing. They are cute and fluffy and we all have to share my garden i guess. They don't know any better LOL
Thank you for this movie I literally paused it and went into my garden and got a section weeded, sheet-mulched, placed stepping stones & planters on my gazebo for added interest. U’ve been motivating me since finding ur movies last year 🤎🤎🤎

I hear ya

IDK about zome 7. But i would try it, just make sure its a shady spot and you give it lots of water!
@@jesthesinginggardener Thank you! I will try it.

oh my word NO thats horrible. Im so sorry. I have mostly Green Velvet and have never had any issues. I also have some Winter Gem that do great!
@@jesthesinginggardener Thank you for your help with the boxwood names. Have a wonderful day and give Max a hug from me, Nancy
💕💕🎶🎶
Are the wood ticks bad by you this year? 💐💚🙃
We found one on my brother the other day and i found one on me when i was back near the woods but thats about it. I heard they are bad but thankfully i haven't seen much
@@jesthesinginggardener That’s good. We get them just about every time we go outside. I spray myself down but I still had one crawling on me 😱💐💚🙃
Since I’m watching this right after 3 tornadoes ripped through Michigan today, I’m hoping that your alright ? I don’t THINK they made it your way and I hope not, just know that I was thinking about you.❤️💐💚🙃
We were about 35 north of the Tornados. We are safe... praying for the people that were effected.
Jes is it better to buy bags of mulch or go to a landscaping place and get their loose mulch?
Sometimes it's on sale here for 2 dollars a bag. I can stack it up and it's easier for me to use in my yard that way then to have it dumped somewhere in my yard and have to shovel it into my wagon and then to take it off my wagon! Sometimes if weeds are looking pretty I just leave them till I'm sick of them or their getting ready to go to seed then they have to go!
Well if it was bunny, they have to eat too, but go to someone else’s garden, heard theirs taste better. Ha ha
i heard that too...LOL ya i just kinda let them do their thing. They are cute and fluffy and we all have to share my garden i guess. They don't know any better LOL
I missed the American flag ! Yeahhhh,it's back !
YA!!
