  • An Australian man (#AussieASMRMan) is quietly whispering as he reviews a #PeanutButterAndJelly sandwich. Peanut Butter and Jelly sandwiches are an iconic North American lunchtime staple. A Peanut Butter and Jelly sandwich is made, discussed and then sampled. Autonomous sensory meridian response (#ASMR). A jar of Peanut Butter and a jar of Jam is shown in the video and all discussion is done in a quiet whisper.

      I screamed when I saw him put margarine in the sandwhich 😂 As an American that has eaten two or three of these week since I was born, I’m very passionate about this sandwich. I personally put about half an inch thick peanut butter and the same for jam. Probably two tablespoons of each. Great video as always, but next time you gotta go all out and make a real PB&J 😎🤘😎

      I was going to say the same thing. You can lay the PB on thick man. It’s just the jam or jelly that shouldn’t be piled on because it’s too sweet. But it also depends how tart the jam or jelly is.
      Jam > jelly in my opinion.
      Although crabapple jelly is quite delicious.

    The most important thing about the sandwich isn't really how much goes on it, but the ratio of the ingredients. So the amount on the sandwich doesn't matter, as long as they're in equal parts. This way they complement each other better.

    I've never seen anyone put butter (or margarine) on a PB&J sandwich! Not hating, I bet it's delicious, just never even heard of that. Is it an Australian thing? I'm from the states.

    American who eats a PB&J every day here. It needs more peanut butter for the protein and go for a jam so you get more flavor. Good Video!

    You need WAY more PB&J on that sandwich. That's just a bread sandwich that fell in some PB&J 😛 Still, good video lol P.S. - You inspired me - just went to make a PB&J but couldn't find the jelly so made a peanut butter and banana sandwich instead. Maybe you could make a peanut butter and banana sandwich video sometime (toast the bread, use lots of peanut butter, and banana slices mmmm)

    Yes they are very common!!! Except I’ve never had mine with butter. I’ve never known anyone whose never tried a PB&J lol so I guess there is a first for evrything… this gives me an idea to put butter on it and the jelly and peanut butter inside and maybe grill it for a bit!!!! That sounds like it would be amazing maybe I’ll try it one day.

    The states jelly isn’t clear, & we also have jam. Not sure why you put butter on it, that’s a first seeing that in 28 years lol. And that’s definitely not enough PB & J on that sandwich my guy. Nice vid tho 👍🏼

  • @jerzeegrl1693
    @jerzeegrl1693 4 ปีที่แล้ว

    You need a lot more peanut butter on that sandwich- it needs to be spread thick - same with the jelly or jam (which I like better), but no margarine. I prefer to make it with strawberry jam, but little kids like it better with grape jelly. You can get the peanut butter- crunchy with bit of peanuts or smooth.

  • @badpuppy3
    @badpuppy3 4 ปีที่แล้ว

    I use way more peanut butter and jam than that. I'm too lazy to butter my bread, but it probably would seal the bread better.

  • @lizzystick76
    @lizzystick76 4 ปีที่แล้ว

    Needs to be much thicker for a proper American PB&J about a 1/4” of each & hold the margarine .
    I guess I assumed , wrongly, it was a world-wide food !

    One of the best tips I ever got when making a pb&j was to use a spoon to spread it. That way the jam doesn't keep falling off the knife and its way faster to spread. Also makes it so fluff isn't as annoying to spread. Highly recommended tip.

  • @sterben54
    @sterben54 4 ปีที่แล้ว

    USA has Jam, too. It's not exclusive to other countries. :)
    Jam and jelly are two different things.
