It didn't feel tryhard to me at all! one of the most tame and wearable collections I've seen them do in a while. tyler has a huuuge fanbase who are very quick to buy his stuff, so I expect this to do numbers. although I won't be purchasing anything (not really buying lv at the moment, focused on C and H), I look forward to seeing these pieces on men and women alike, as it did feel like they could be worn by both. I think tyler did a good job of starting with a base of murakami for inspiration and then making it his own with unique elements

Jessie, Tyler the Creator is not just a rapper he has his own Fashion Brand: Golf Wang which is his street style, Golf Le Fuer his high end brand where he sells more preppy clothes, perfume, nail polish, luggage, etc. His colors are Spring colors greens and light blue with the flower symbol. I think he is a lover of Louis Vuitton. He is a real artist so I think they are trying to attract college age students /20 Something who already support his brand. His own brand sells shirts for $400 which sells out in seconds so maybe they are trying to get his audience to come over to LV.

I actually like this one. I feel like it's really commercial, so I do think it will sell out. The colors are really nice and approachable. Gives spring vibes. I love how chocolate the brown feels in this collection. The dog is cute and subtle.
I personally love the chocolate candy looking monogram in dark and light canvas … so much! In my opinion it’s cuter than any other collaboration LV did. I want at least two bags 😂❤

This collection has Tyler The Creator written all over it and is super inspired by his brand Golf Le Fleur - the cream base with pastel colored monogram is something he's done for many collections, so it only seems fitting here. The dog is a nice touch, since it's a part of both his clothing collections at Le Fleur and his music. Other small touches are the flowers in between the LV monogram, which is his logo. The monogram itself is also hand drawn by Tyler - overall super creative collection for me personally and a nice homage to anyone who knows him

I think this collection will be super popular! At first I didn’t like it but it’s growing on me and now I kind of think it’s cute 🖤
Tyler the Creator was very close friends with Virgil Abloh, hence his Louis Vuitton connection. Tyler also has his own men's clothing collections such as Golf Wang and Golf Le Fleur that have been successful. Im sure his fans will support this collaboration.

Tyler has a certain style that not everyone will vibe with. He's always been with his own thing.and it's refreshing. A mix of high/low/ Retro/Funk/Prep......yeah all that mix together.

Tyler The Creator is a top tier celebrity this collaboration makes sense. But I want you to know that Tyler in his own right has a following and certainly did not only get this job because of his friendship with Pharrell. We don’t make these same statements when white or non black people do something special. I don’t like that people are so quick to discredit black people. Rap has huge influence on the luxury world for decades. This is not something new. What’s new is that the artists are getting the credit for their influence to the fashion world.

Not wearable in lots of EU countries. They are not seen as elegant.
The collab and the ads for the collab look really cool. I think Pharrell and his team are crushing it because we are discussing (and buying) men's fashion. This does not happen in general. I also find it interesting no one is talking about anything interesting coming from Nicolas Ghesquiere's womenswear collections at all. I'm just sad we are stuck with Nicolas for 4 more years.
Has LV ran out of money to hire proper designer? If they keep hiring these musicians to design for them, soon they will lose their exclusivity.

For some reason it already looks dated to me, it's probably the browns, maybe? It's a very '70s brown school plastic' chair brown.
If they had used the normal vachetta (or white vachetta for the milky cereal vibe) I'd like it much better

Well at least this collection looks like a Luis Vuitton collection and not a Chanel does LV like some of Pharrell things. I think it will probably do well because it could appeal to his fan base & to people who have no clue who Tyler The Creator is.
Uh NO. It looks like a version of a black and white LV with the rainbow colors in the 90s. It’s ok but who needs a “version “ of. Just reissue. It does seem a bit try hard/ childish.

I think is really cute but I don't know if I would spend the money on this collection. I think Tyler the creator does have a clothing line called Golf and it's street wear. Maybe he got his inspo from that. But I don't think it's cute and I would actually wear it.
