I saw the unboxing on Arms Family Homestead. That book on plants that can be eaten BUT the bugs that the kids ate was really funny. Chagga is so expensive at expose I’ve been to. Love the knives.
I eat bugs. Or at least I would if I won a box. I see why many might criticize this box, since it’s not as flashy as an EDC or BOB box, but there are still some very useful items in it. That belt bag alone would help so much with my “honey do” list. The knives are ones meant to be used, not “man jewelry,” which is fine. The folder is great for foraging and moras are always great. Curious about that steel in the KoTM though. The waxed canvas bag looks to be of high quality and should be useful for many folks. The book/cards are useful as knowledge is your best tool in a survival/wilderness situation. So maybe not a super exciting/fancy box, and some will feel they didn’t get their money’s worth. Sure, that’ll always happen with a subscription box. That said, I’ll take useful, quality tools that I’ll actually put to use any day over more flashy stuff that just ends up taking up space on a shelf or in a display case.
Already calling it, Hunter box next month. That said, I like this one way better than the less than satisfactory Tracking box. I would have liked to see something better than that firewood carrier but its certainly something I can use. But for the first time I think I will be able to say... I EAT BUGS thanks to the basic box. I look forward to doing some exploring and learning some of the local plants I can use. Something Ive never done before. Sadly winter is coming early here so I may have to wait until spring to find everything. Can't wait for this box to arrive.

I subscribe to basic. Began back in February based on previous boxes listed and hoped with good stuff to upgrade. Everything seemed awesome including the last Bush craft. Unfortunately This and the tracking box really were terrible compared to other boxes. Tracking... I have only used hunting. A handkerchief in both boxes?! I feel like we went to the scout shop and picked up what they can't sell. I'll be judging what I shift to for next year if there is another box like this. The shooting box and camping boxes were well done.

Pretty cool box though that knife around your neck is better, and most all SS used in knives is modified 400 series even the so called super steels though no one wants to admit it. Never though of subscribing as there are only a few things I would use in most the boxes, but I do like seeing what you all put together.
While the theme doesn't have a lot of sex appeal and aside from the Cudeman knife, nothing really leaped out giving me a major woody; however, the box contains a number of solid items (even for those who are not bug eaters). Look, even I am compelled to try them, mainly because I like bacon and cheese; however, if you don't want to eat them, well Halloween is coming up so drop them into a trick or treater's bag ... bbbbwwwaaaaahahahahahahaaaa!!! I eat bugs. Had chocolate covered crickets in 7th grade. Cant remember what kind of lesson it was for, but i remember having to pick legs out of my teeth
Wow my box just showed up and all I can say is wow!!! Each item will be used; some neat presents for the nephews and the knives are out of this world... keep up the great work from one Happy repeat Patron!!!!!!
Just put the items to use... used the Mora knife to make some fine kindling for a fire starter and a piece of the Chaga chunks to start the fire and then used the log canvas carry-bag to haul the logs in from outside to start the first fire of the winter up here in Montana with the snow today!!!

I have friends that ride horses and I'm getting into too, a box with some riding type survival/camping gear? Example: something to protect yourself or your horse if approached by aggressive animal ( like a dog). Things that can help your pack, saddle bags (leather cleaning and maintenance items perhaps?). Just a thought. Love you guys, keep it going!
My girl gets saddlebox. It has a bunch of horse stuff. But honestly how many of these subscribers have any sort of ties to horses? They are expensive and require lots of maintenance. The equestrian community is a very very small make up the "survival/prepper" community. Nice idea but would never come from battlbox.
Wow cool stuff ide really like that book. Was looking for one need to go look again. I love the woods and nature sadly I need a scooter to get around so don't get out as much but fish all I can and try to get to the woods now and then so ide love that book. The cards and the bandana are cool. The knifes OMG I lived in Spain when I was 5 went to kindagarden there so wow ide love to win. I eat bugs. Wow nice knife also crossing my fingers hope I'm not late. Never got a battle box before. But ide Shur love to get one and I will was messaged and gonna be blessed next month. But it would be so cool to win this one this is something being I'm a single parent and take many kids fishing and teaching them survival and fishing for fun but also to feed there family.
