Violin music is wonderful but we can't even imagine how much patience and practice it takes to get to a good level... All we can do is sit back and enjoy the performers' skill 😅 Hope you enjoy the mix, thanks for listening!
I played violin during a long time, and true it is hard, I never played very well. 😅 But I tried piano too, and found it difficult in a different way : it was so difficult for me to manage the two hands at the same time !! xD For me violin is easier on this point, but it is true that before to produce a beautiful sound on a violin, you have to work so so hard... Put your fingers on the right place, apply the right pressure with the bow... And when you are ok with that, that doesn't mean you can play a melody : you have to keep the rythme, without tangling your fingers or touching the wrong string with your bow. xD That's quite a challenge, but for me the moment when I got really better is when I began to play the music of my choice : the heart may know the way to reach the beauty. =)
Violin is indeed far more complex with a cliff of a learning curve at the start. Piano is very easy to get started with and produce decent music with but gets very difficult in the advanced stage. As I see it, difficulty shouldn't stop you from acquiring the skill you want to learn. Makes it all the more rewarding =)
