I would love a recommendation. How might I find a provider that is using these technologies and approaches discussed in the video?

I am 38, I got excision done and later doctor says endo will come back and ivf will not be successful which is quite opposite of what he said prior to surgery. The surgeon is from Harvard 🙁. I now have no children with no hope to conceive anyway. He also said even with donor eggs your chances to conceive are slim. Where should such patients go? I live in Boston area, almost all fertility specialist follow same protocol. I have spoken to so many there is no custom protocol for women with inflammation. Where should such patients go?

I would recommend reading “it starts with the egg” by Rebecca fett. Keep researching and good luck!!

I’m actually here regretting my surgery in regards to my fertility. I did have a chocolate cyst on my ovary, and I was otherwise pretty assymtomatic. I ended up getting an excision which I think killed the function of my ovaries. I now have extremely low amh for my age, and probably compromised my fertility, where maybe I wouldn’t have trouble conceiving even with the endo had I not gotten the surgery!

There are other therapies being developed. .. gnrh agonists like Lupron and Orlissa. Aromatase inhibitors, as well as progesterone therapy.

no. hes wrong. laparoscopic surgery is the only REAL way to diagnose endometriosis + the EXTENT of it.. its very common for it to be missed on an ultrasound even if its advanced imaging, everyone knows that. & its the first thing a doctor will tell you when you seek help.. if it wasnt for surgery majority of women today would have never known or been able to treat this disease. this kind of mindset is whats kept women from a diagnosis for years and years. keeping them in pain & unexplained infertility
