The Nyeshang people who inhabit the valleys in Manang are originally from Tibet. The Nyeshang people are said to have migrated from the ancient kingdom of Shang Shung in ancient Tibet; their name means "we of Shang".
Absolutely beautiful, simply love it. Bravo Karma Tsetan lak 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻 it is my earnest request that you come up with remaining Nesangten Cultural songs with same melodious music. If possible give English caption, I really do hope this will popularize the songs among the younger generation. Lastly, I genuinely appreciate your efforts towards inspiring the younger generation to preserve their dying culture. Orche Nani 🙏🙏🙏
I am so happy to see finally someone has started to preserve our Nyeshang culture songs. Beautifully done and loved it. I really appreciate your work. Well done and keep it up. Hoping it will inspire the younger generation to preserve our dying culture.
This is the most beautiful songs and most meaningful music video I have seen. This kind of old traditional songs are very important to preserve the most precious culture of Manang. Thanks for sharing to us.
As a proud young generation of Kyipey Nyeshang, I m really interested in practicing our culture and traditions but I don't have much idea about them. I have just seen older people performing it. Older generation of Nyeshang should focus on passing our cultural responsibilities to younger generation like me. Many of us are willing to learn and practice our cultural practices if we can get enough guiding and support from Nyeshang Community. Kyipey Nyeshang dila Tashi Shok!
Same thoughts here. I grew up in a boarding school, so sadly never felt the connection with our culture and tradition. But now being a mom, I want to learn so that I can share with my kids. Been learning Nyangmi dance 😊
You looked absolutely stunning in this dress. I always adored your magical voice and keep embracing your beautiful journey. Sending love from France. ❤❤❤❤❤❤
Orche Ana 😇 For Preserving Nyeshang (Gurung/Ghale) Culture ❤ A truly delightful and enchanting song unfolded, graced by the humble presence of Sir Rinji Gurung, Madam Kelma Gurung and Others 🌸🎵
I think nyeshang language (manange ppl) is slightly different than tibetan language. Request to all nyeshang, karma tseten ghale, tenzing dolma gurung (von 5)..., plz promote more nyeshang culture songs. sherpas r doing great in music.👍👏👏 ☸️🇳🇵🙏
It’s a dialect of Tibetan language. The language was founded by 7th century minister of the 33rd Tibetan King of Yarlung dynasty Songtsen Gampo. His name was Thonmi and the Indian intellectuals called him “Sambhota” (meaning the good Tibetan in Sanskrit as “Bhotey/Bhot” is the Sanskrit word for Tibet). Thonmi based the writing system on Indian Devanagari and Gupta writings of the time. So, nowadays, Tibetan language has hundreds if not thousands of dialects all the way from eastern Kham Tibet to Northern Nepal and even in Baltistan Pakistan and Ladakh, Spiti, Sikkim, Arunachal in India and Bhutan.
Beautiful song! Just so you know, Jesus loves you and wants you to follow Him ❤ He is the way, the truth, and the life. I was an atheist for years until I had a supernatural encounter with Jesus that profoundly changed my life. The gift of salvation and eternal life is available to all who put their trust in Jesus. He can heal you of the deepest pain and shame. Seek Him with a genuine and humble heart and He will reveal His existence to you.
Sorry for the Nyeshang people and for Karma Tseten I deleted my comment confusing you with the Tibetan people. Your culture is unfortunately almost unknown in France and Western countries.
@@1user1212 Thank you so much. I deleted my comment because I received a response telling me sharply that the Nyeshang people are not the Tibetan people.
@@1user1212Yes , we Nyeshang people migrated from the Tibetan land a long long time back. And now we carry our own language though we share the same culture, religion and traditions with Tibetan people.
@@karmatsetenghale Karma Tseten, you are one of my favorite singers like Sonam Darkyi, Tsewang Lhamo, Tenzin Tsokey for your voices but also because you all have in common the desire to preserve your culture, your language and to defend your people. Goodness emanates from you. Conversely, it is clear that certain clearly Chinese channels present Tibetan dances and songs in a purely folkloric and wonderful aspect. This mainly concerns Tibetan dancers from Chengdu. We see there the desire to assimilate the Tibetans and we do not miss an opportunity to show fans from all countries the perfect understanding that exists between Tibetans and Hans. The problem is not nationality but that we are dealing with good people.......
@ gilles guillemier Of late, corrupted Tibetan cultural songs, dances, dresses, etc., etc. are mushrooming on various platforms/internet, intentionally, by the Chinese or through their propagandists elements. They are pompous with giant stages and what not. But lacking in original Tibetan style vocal, tunes, innocence and sincerity in presentation.

Thanks for sharing. I really love learning about different cultures ❤
Incorrect. People are indigenous to the land. Both the land and people were part of ancient Tibet

What's nyeshang? Aren't people of Manang Gurung then why they follow Tibetian culture ? It's bit confusing
@@tshosanggurung7038It's because Gurungs are historically Tibetan. Gurung came under Nepal dominion only during the 18th century.
@@tshosanggurung7038the thing is they still communicate in gurung/neshyang language but they sing and dance in tibetan language traditionally
Loved it.Everything looks perfect.👏Please do consider English translation next time.Proud Nyeshang here😊

@@1user1212 I don't think Neshyang language is a tibetan dialect
I heard it's more similar to tamang and gurung language
