From Mississippi. The back of the leaf should be rubbed lightly with cloth or finger. Less is more with rub n buff. Cute projects!

Thank you for sharing, lovely projects 😘 To seal/varnish decoupage I use Polyvine decorators varnish or heavy duty wood varnish. Both of them can be applied to almost everything, also they are waterproof, anti uv and heavy duty wood varnish is also heat proof (good for coaster). They can also make napkins background transparent- good for decoupage napkins on dark backgrounds 😅

Well I thought they were better B4 all you had to to on that spoon is use a gentle sandpaper and oil it with veg oil that's what I do if it's not broke don't fix it well at least it gave you a job to do I suppose kept you busy for 5 .
Great job! Tip, use Saran Wrap to rub over your decoupage products to get the wrinkles out, works great!

The glass dish, I would suggest finishing it off with dishwasher safe Mod Podge. I know you wouldn't put it in the dishwasher but it will mean you can use it as a plate for food items on special occasions. If need be, it will be safe to wipe clean with a damp cloth and wipe dry. In this way it will turn a display piece into a pretty but useful item.

I think I would have put the gold paint on something like a paper towel and just dabbed, or whiped, a bit on the high detail of the bottom, as opposed to using the brush

It was absolutely the best move that my husband and I have made. I was born California, been to Texas, then Alaska. I lived in Vancouver, Washington, but nothing beats Idaho. Coeur d' Alene was starting to get too busy for us. So we moved out to Kellogg and love the laid back easy quiet life.

I got a clear, water based, primer and sealer, Home Depo, for my walls. This works well where spray sealers are used, but cheaper! Use with a nylon brush.
