Hi great great video I’m about to do this on my MK2 I have a 16V and I want to upgrade O2J transmission. My question is what motor mounts I need to use to mount this transmission on my MK2? Is it the same one my old transmission used ? Thanks in advance
Hi we’re you able to snap back the shift boot and trim assembly back on with the original holes you drilled or second additional holes? Either way the shifter boot wont snap back in place , it sits up to high. It needs to sit lower in the frame.

@@rahanibacarra5720 would live too but I dont own an mk3 cabrio so I cant confirm it. I woukd suggest asking on the mk3 facebook pages. Some mk3's came with 02j trans that is why i say it should be a bolton.

No just get a new one. It's much safer and they really are not that expensive. Get them from urotuning.com good stuff
