Beautiful earrings, will give them a try. You should be so proud of your son, his music is so relaxing. I suffer badly with depression n panic attacks and had a panic attack right at the start of your video but was able to control it a lot better with the music being so soothing. Do you think they would be to big if I used 11/0 seed beads? Also where do you buy 15/0 seed beads I can only ever find bigger ones in stores like Micheals or Hobby Lobby but nothing that small. Very beautiful pair of earrings❤️
These are already a good size, 11/0 will make it bigger. Here in India we don't have Micheals or Hobby Lobby. I buy my seed beads from my local craft store. These 15/0s didn't come with a brand name, but their uniform size tells they must be Preciosa brand.
You can buy the tiny 15/0 beads as well as 11/0 and larger 8/0 (bigger number means smaller size) in the US or online at Fire Mountain Gems and Beads.
What kind thread do you reccomend to keep the bead tension tight and the earrings stiffer? I have been having problems with floppy earrings.
I use 0.20 mm and 0.16 mm fishing line for my beading. You can either keep reinforcing the beadwork till you get the desired tension/ stiffness or till the Seed beads allow the passing of thread. Recently I have started using clear nail polish for hardening, because no matter how many times I pass the thread, the beadwork still remains floppy to some extent. Now ....no worries 💅

These seed beads didn't come with brand name, but most of my 8/0 seed beads are Preciosa brand. I don't buy online.
