Apple Arcade has no in app paid purchases, so there won't be any additional purchases for an apple arcade game. The upcoming updates to the current DLC -a rift in time should be included. We don't know for certain if future DLCs for this game would continue to be included in the arcade edition, but it seems likely that they would be included to maintain the user base and value of continuing to pay for apple arcade. However, we won't know until it happens. They could also choose to abandon the arcade version or remove it at any time as well (hopefully they won't do that any time soon, haha).
I mean as a switch player, it's the same I think. I thought it was weird you couldn't toggle on the newer higher level some other systems have since all my apple devices would outperform the switch easy
If you have a controller you like already, I'd try to use that. I've had really good luck with an xbox series x controller. It's pretty comfortable to hold and reliable but takes aa batteries. That's what I use most of the time with my ipad. The joycons from my switch have paired OK too, but I keep the xbox controller just for the ipad so I only use it on the ipad and don't have to worry about re- pairing it. I just turn it on and it works. I feel like it might give more control in decorating and touch of magic but it might just be the arcade version too
I have got a switch and an arcade subscription. I don't mind paying for the switch version if I need to. So it is basically buggy switch with online or no online purchases with arcade? I do like playing on my MacBook and then be able to do a sneaky farm from my iPhone while in work ;) What my big worry is that arcade removes the game from their store. This happened before for a game that I was playing on :(
They both have online play (switch you have to pay for NSO online for multiplayer), but yeah arcade does not have the star path or premium shop. The multidevice for arcade is soo nice. But yeah I worry about Gameloft possibly removing it from arcade in the future, especially with it not being compatible with the other versions. I haven't had that happen yet with any of mine yet but that would not be fun. At least on gamepass, you can cross save, so if it left gamepass, you could still buy the game and not lose your save.
oh no!, if you get all the way to the loading screen, then it sounds like you are doing everything right. Maybe report in bugs. I don't know if it would have loaded far enough, but maybe see if it registers as a fast travel location on the map the way the realms do as an alternate way to load in? I"m not sure when that become possible
oh rip I didn't realise Apple Arcade had 3 month trials, it was my first time hearing of apple arcade when I went to download hello kitty island adventure on my phone, and so I just started the 1 month trial 😭😭😭 I literally got a new MacBook on 30 nov so I COULD have gotten 3 month trial instead, if I had just opened Apple Arcade on my MacBook. sigh. this happened last time too where Disney announced a 3 month trial literally 2 weeks after I made my first subscription
I have no idea. Everything is pretty specific and the gens vary by device line. I'd check all the different places that it lists devices and only guess that it works if it is on them all
I have premium shop items and house skins on my nintendo switch account. The video includes sections where I visit that valley with the apple arcade account- multi player section or noted at the bottom.
I had to go check it worked on mine. Just go into furniture/decorating mode. Find the house on the map and tap and drag to move it wherever just like any piece of furniture.
does anyone know if the Apple Arcade version will have all future paid expansion packs included for free? or will future paid expansion packs all cost $30 each? I wanna know how the cost works out over time for buying the Mac version vs Apple Arcade subscription.
I don't think they have said anything official, but apple arcade does not allow in app purchases or add ons as far as I know, so I would guess if it stays on apple arcade through additional expansion passes they'd either be included (most likely) or unavailable.
I have had the arcade edition for a while now but the BIG thing I noticed is there is no shop tag and no moon stones

I think one of the big issues people are going to have issues with is lower item maximums. 😢

No, those are part of the premium shop, so you don't have that on the arcade version

no it's a standalone save. You can multiplayer with all platforms except PS.
Does it play 60+ fps? Or is it fixed frame rate?
Fixed 30fps on low price iPad, and 60fps on iPad M1,M2 chip
