Shalom and thank you, this is a great teaching. I got to thinking, people will say "The devil made me do it" or "It's the devil in me". I think when you put the "d" in front of it, you can make it the fault of some other being instead of taking responsibility for your own actions. We are mortified by the thought that we might be perceived as being evil. We know man is capable of great evil but "It's not me, it's them". Only when we can accept that, more often than not, the "evil done to us" is the consequences of our choices and actions can we truly repent
