My uncle would always get excited watching this one and being an ignorant kid I was I never would watch this one I always thought it was really boring. Paborito niya si Sakuragi, pero tawag namin sa kanya especially ako ay Bakulaw dahil matangkad siya at malaki rin ang katawan tapos mukhang laging galit. And yung kuya isa siyang basketball player, madalas mvp and gaya ni Sakuragi, for me siya ang hari ng rebound, malakas talaga siyang pang counter sa kalaban. Honestly, he was our Sakuragi. For me, he was the best basketball player. Sadly, we loss him in a motor bike crash. (He was drunk that time, went in a birthday party of his barkada) And while his friends still achieving their dreams, my brother, has already ended yet unachieved.

I think they don't know the words give up even the time is running out. and that's why shohoku are the winner against sannoh the depending champion. Thanks to rukawa's assist who the reason why they win. and also to sakuragi who the main reason why they win. But sad to say, they are not the champion even they are the main character of story
