The Buffalo shooter purposely chose soft targets, those highly unlikely to be able to defend themselves against such an attack. He actually killed the sister in law of my coworker and dear friend.... Not 100% but I think because most life sentences are up orcan be appealed after 30 years or so. Not saying that 30 years is not a long time but just my thought.
Because if they are ever given parole they will first have to finish the second sentence. Say someone gets 2 life sentences and after 25 years they are eligible for parole. Well if that parole is accepted they will first have to finish the 2nd life sentence. Effectively keeping them in prison, where they belong. They would have to complete a total of at least 50 years before being eligible to be paroled and released onto the streets

I've lived in Buffalo for nearly 7 years and never had any issues or faced any racial conflict, people actually get along here for the most part and I count many nationalities within my circle of friends....this is one of the few times in my life I desire nothing more than a slow, lingering and painful demise for another human being....may he live to be 100 and get the sh×t beat out of him twice daily

Not 100% but I think because most life sentences are up orcan be appealed after 30 years or so. Not saying that 30 years is not a long time but just my thought.
Because if they are ever given parole they will first have to finish the second sentence. Say someone gets 2 life sentences and after 25 years they are eligible for parole. Well if that parole is accepted they will first have to finish the 2nd life sentence. Effectively keeping them in prison, where they belong. They would have to complete a total of at least 50 years before being eligible to be paroled and released onto the streets
What even is a life sentence if it's only 20 or 30 years? I have a hard time taking that seriously! That's not a life sentence, it's just long term unless the guy dies in prison!

My grandpa was murdered by John Allen Muhammad and Lee Boyd Malvo (Beltway Snioers, Dc Snipers etc...). I think he was technically murdered by only one of them but I consider that they are both responsible for his murder. In the only Beltway Snipers murder in Washington, DC and the first one to occur at night, my grandpa Pascal was shot in the chest on October 3, 2002 at 9:15 p.m as he walked along Georgia Avenue. He was taken to a hospital, where he died less than an hour later. We were not super close but I still miss him very much!!!!
