This was in 1983, last few months of his life. As per what I have read, he was going through health issues, he was isolated by our 'very honourable' film industry. Those insecure heroes of that time deliberately sidelined him, asked their wives not to work with him and that he was given side roles. One can easily make out that, some serious politics were going on against him. Also, at this point in this interview, you can clearly see he was battling severe depression.. those blank, spark-less, puffy eyes say it all. What a loss. No one should ever be treated like that.
Oh my GOD Aalamgir and Mr Murad together.....what a lovely and hounarable night for people who were seeing them live. Murad has a naughty smile...cute..Respect you sir.

My God this is August 2020... and Karachi is still the same in rain.... and Waheed Murad is so cute and innocent... he left too soon at the age of 43.... the time he should have been at the peak of his career .... perhaps the decline of film industry was too much for him.... in a way he was the victim of Zia rule....

Those were the days 🥲 I was hit by a wave of nostalgia. It is so sad to see that so many of these legends have left for their heavenly abode. That was the "real" Pakistan and those days will never come back. The current generation does not know what they missed!

Athar Shah Khan Sahab acted in many TV and stage shows. His acting was marvelous. Athar Shah Khan was a great poet too. Qazi Wajid was an amazing actor too.

This is the first time I've heard Waheed Murad in a talk show. I am thoroughly impressed what a nice person and so different from his persona in the movies. That is a sign of a great actor.
